Anything done to control population should be supported. People who know anything about climate, nature, earth would understand this. If I had been in power I'd limit the number to just one kid. And this problem will be solved through proper law and order. But that doesn’t mean that India does not need a Population Control Bill. This means the state is set to reach near 2.1 by 2025 even based on the current trends.
Today, fertility rates in UP are higher for poorer Hindus, scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and muslims. Discrimination based on number of children will largely mean that poorer and socially backward sections will suffer.. and rich,upper caste hindus will benefit. This is dangerous.
