about time, as a victim of abuse seeing this awful man get away with beating that poor lady is unacceptable. no one should be able to treat anyone like that...even if she took money to be silent...which is also troubling. Dont take money...speak out and up and youll feel better for it in time.
Just because you took money doesn't mean you have to be or even can be silent when it comes to law enforcement. And perpetrators know that when they make a settlement. So do expect Cassie to be front and center in any trial in this case.

It won't have any bearing on sentencing. It's normal to plead not guilty. No attorney would advise their client to plead guilty and as such, it very rarely happens. Plead not guilty > plea deal or trial. That's the order.

It seems like a pretty solid case. You would think that a guilty plea as well as throwing yourself on the mercy of the court would have potential for a lighter sentence.
