    Hi Ma’am,
    I am Irfan from Karachi.
    In this video you mentioned use of coco peat instead of perlite.
    I understand that coco peat has the water retention properties, whereas , perlite doesn’t. Considering this will use of coco peat is still advisable for succulents?
    Regards.

    Can I use gravel instead perlite

    Ohh..u r not replying...😢but then too 1 question. Cocopeat's nature is to hold water. Nd succulents dont like soil mix which holds water. So..why u said we can use cocopeat if perlite not available. Pl guide me. I m very confused. Hope u will reply..😊

      @pavangollakoti 4 місяці тому

      I prefer sand over cocopeat and it keeps the soil porous and doesn't hold water much.....

      @@pavangollakoti thank you so much for replying. My some succulents were in glass pot nd they died whenever I used potting mix with cocopeat.

    Its not correct, if u ise coco peat ur succulents will die in summer. What i use is
    60% river sand
    20% organic compost(vermi)
    10% rice shell, charcoal
    10% perlites
    I live in Bangladesh & it works pretty well
