Katya, thank you so much!! I just watched this video, took notes, took the forth SAT practice test and each of my poem question was correct!!! Because I started doing the same as youve shown about adding words and identifying pronounces and the repetition subject as the main idea, this is incredibly helpful thank you so sooo much!!!
This makes me so so happy. I try to document what goes on through my mind when I solve questions, then you try to demonstrate it to my clients, but it's up to you to duplicate it and get results. So happy it worked for you!
I already checked my answer with other comments haha, but I got C The trick was between A and C, but I believe the meaning of the Daffodils in this context is more as a spiritual relief to the poet, and we can possibly imply that this positive interaction between the poet and Daffodils could lead them to actively appreciate nature, but its not explicitly mentioned so it cannot be true. C, on the other hand, is much more specific as there are several examples in the poem showing how daffodils bring a sense of joy, solitude, etc among the poet in a pleasant manner
It would be helpful if you detailed specifically what types of questions the DSAT will ask about poetry (content, meaning, inferences, logical completion, or ??).
In the membership, you will get 16 live sessions, feedback, direct help from me with numerous questions. Way better than a self paced product that most will not even finish.
Thank you for your great videos. They are really helpful. Just a question, I recently bought a book named “From Shakespeare to Eliot & Beyond“Do you think it’s helpful for poetry questions?
I’m a little stuck between B and C. However, it didn’t say anything about beauty. Besides, lying on couch and thinking and then having a heart filled is suggesting “soothe”, so C is my choice. Although I think “spiritual” might not be a very good fit here.
@@ella.ochuwa Sure! For A to be correct, there must be a line or two that says, "The flowers are making me appreciate nature more than I have been, " and we don't have that. On the contrary, we have a whole second paragraph where the poet is recalling his encounter with the daffodils - think reveling the personal meaning of daffodils to him. He says thinking about them while sitting on the couch in a thoughtful mood makes him feel the bliss of being alone (think calm) and fills his heart with pleasure. Definitely C!
Hey hun, although I would love to help everyone, I am not God. I am only one person. I give my full focus to my clients (1:1 and membership), so this is the ONLY way to get answers directly from me. If you are not able or willing to make the investment, I can only give you my free content on UA-cam, IG, and TikTok

Great video! I have one question, though: is it common to know Latin roots?
I think C is the best option here.
