Being uncomfortable in her usually normal vocal range might just be psychological because she's not wearing her usual hoodies during recording. Singers make sure they're comfortable when going in a recording booth. Some would remove all pieces of jewelry and even make-up. Some men would even take their shirts off, no joke. Wheein obviously has either a prior or post schedule after this recording that's why she's dressed up here.
