"Because Geoff stabbed a can with a sword."
"Oh that makes sense."
Ah, yes. Perfect sense.
"Why'd you make your misery so funny" - Gavin Free
If there ever was a quote that deserved to be a shirt more than this, the world would have imploded by now.
was scrolling down during that whole eye thing and read this exactly when it was said....i don't know what to do with this information
"GGNGNGNHH! OH, I PUSHED THE WRONG BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOX!!!! AGGGHHH!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!"
- Gavin Free, 2018
Gavin Free - Anytime they play Trivial Pursuit or any game with questions and answers.
"GGNGNGNHH! OH, I PUSHED THE WRONG BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOX!!!! AGGGHHH!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!"
- Gavin Free, 2017
- Gavin Free, 2016
- Gavin Free, 2015
-etc...
I've never heard Gavin rage that hard sure he rages now and again but not like that hard my lord goodness gracious
When your boss stabs your soda can with a sword. #AchievementHunterProblems
Geoff's not their boss for a couple of years. He gave it to Lindsay, and now it's Trevor
"Flags without stars"
Jack: Picks the flag that is literally just a giant star.
I mean, I know you guys aren't the smartest, but Hitchcock is not the same as Hancock. Hancock is the Will Smith film, Hitchcock is about the director
Some of them know they lack intelligencr, but some think they are the smartest person in whatever room they enter.
Some is inaccurate. I really mean just one, guess who?
Think that was supposed to be a joke. Can't be absolutely certain with AH however...
Kieran H lol it’s not shocking that Jack’s wrong info gets Geoff confused
Errol was Percy's owl. Pigwidgeon was Ron's own owl that he got after Pettigrew revealed himself. Ginny named the owl and he wouldn't answer to anything else, so Ron called him Pig.
The game did a pretty good gag when they were answering the question about "The Thinker" and every avatar hit "The Thinker" pose almost in unison.. 2:10
Ryan’s whole goal was to find a way to drop out and go play Spider-Man 😂
Jeremy - “I just knew it wasn’t Rita”
Just the way he had said Rita 😂 like ouch.
I love Jack but the best part of these videos is when he's being snarky about a question and then gets it wrong. 30:30
That happens fairly regularly.
Or when he tries to give the answer but walk it back a bit in case he's wrong.
Any last bird noises?
This is Gav we’re talking about.
You gotta promise me; put Monster Truck in the ground.
Ok so since it was a thing almost everyone had beef with in the video lemme clear things up He was ALWAYS called doctor eggman in japan and he was only called robotnik in the West they decided to finally combine the 2 names and make them both officially canon in sonic adventure with his official name being Robotnik but everyone just calling him eggman for obvious reasons
it's literally the case of friggin his original name was Eggman, which is why he had the "Egg" EVERYTHING. He's pretty much Batman in that if its used by him, or made by him, the word "Egg" is going to be prefixing it.
I did like, however, how the US translation of Sonic Adventure handled it. Sonic insults him, Robotnik retorts, and sonic counters with "Whatever you say _Eggman_ "
Best part is that by SA2 he just rolls with it.
"I am the Eggman, that's what i am,
I am the Eggman, I've got the master plan,
I am the Eggman, Thats what i am,
I am the Eggman, i've got the ma~ster Plaaaaaan!"
People are upset about it because Robotnik is actually a good, original and fitting name--it's a good name for a villain. Eggman is..... fuck, it's just a bad name. Period.
I'm more surprised by the Fiona Fox thing. The Archie comics aren't the sort of thing you'd expect the devs to recognize, let alone the preboot.
I KNOW RIGHT?! i literally was yelling "WAIT! FIONA FOX?!" and then remembered poor Tails' first girlfriend. ahh, the poor kid.
Hey remember when will smith played as alfred hitchcock?
I had to look it up, I was so confused by that answer.
Till I realized it was a different Hitchcock movie.
Wow scratch that, just remembered the name was Hancock lol.
Also it doesn't help that Will Smith has another movie named Hitch.
If you took a shot for every time Jack said ‘Arts and Leisure’ instead of ‘Arts and Literature’, you’d probably be blind halfway through this video
If Uldren took a shot every time he said, "Any last words?", he'd be in the ground by now.
I thought jack was going to realize he was saying it wrong when he got the prompt with art and sports but he still said sports and leisure paused and said arts and leisure
Pretty sure it’s a joke cause they made a mistake several episodes ago and now he always says it that way. He really sticks to jokes if you haven’t noticed.
It's a joke from the past Trivial Pursuit. The one where he kept flubbing his words
"Louisiana purchase was huge" even this this an understatement. It was one of the biggest events in the 19th century that changed the course of history for all the Americas and Africa and Europe. It wasn't huge. It was world changing.
@@georgehh2574 I would disagree with food portions. They're bigger than European portions, but a variety of American-Asian and American-Indian (As in India) portions are similar in size (though likely healthier).
@@georgehh2574 Bit of a stereotype that, and as an underweight American who has met mostly skinny people, not entirely true.
Gavin, to answer your question, France spent that money on the Napoleonic Wars
@Diogenes Rex that's the reason why Napoleon was willing to give the us such a big deal. The land wasn't all that lucrative for France with it's only real exports at the time being furs and timber. At the same time he was fighting the full might of the brittish empire. He needed cash to keep up his conquest, so flipping useless land to the us was an easy way to ensure he was funded for the rest of the campaign
@@JKSSubstandard wasn't Louisiana owned by Spain when France sold it to USA
@@theemiester4090 no. Spain returned Louisiana to French government in a treaty. France had to deal with Slave revolt and yellow fever in Saint Dominique so one of Napoleon's advisers told him to accept the US purchase of Louisiana. Napoleon himself wanted to keep it.
Jack: "I got these little kittens now, Gavin. They're adorable. "
Gavin: *Golden hands intensify*
Somebody should pull a shenanigans and map the buttons differently on somebody so they keep pressing the wrong thing 😂
32:17 "Did you know Kokomo is not a place?"
Yes it is, but it's in Indiana.
15:45 Mr. Mephistopheles is the name of a cat from the musical Cats.
I'm sorry, I can't tell if you're joking or not, but in the case that you're not, I must tell you, it's actually Mr. Mistoffelees. If you are joking, I apologize for the unnecessary correction. Have a good day
This is Cayde we're talking about.
Can we please have this comment have the most like for the video. For a comment on a commercial to get more likes than a comment on the video would be SPECTACULAR
44:51 Every character there that isn't from The Matrix is from Reboot. Awesome question.
Yes! It was so fun to notice that! I miss old Reboot. :( (stay away from the new Netflix attempt, for the love of all that is good)
Yup when that came up and i was looking at the answers i was like "wait a minute". Whoever wrote those answers is a god
Gavin's meltdown at 21:45 had me in tears, holy shit.
I love it when Jeremy wins when Jack is playing. So, so, so salty
I can't wait too be reading comment sections a year from now and being confused as hell as to why everyone is talking about Cayde and putting Uldren in the ground.
Cant just put godzilla in a thumbnail and expect me NOT to watch lol
Jack's "remember when you had all those colonies?" Fucking hilarious
Leslie Winkle was the female scientist who Leonard and Howard briefly dated, early in the series. Will Smith was a superhero in "Hancock", and Scarlett Johansson wasn't in it. And of course King Kong beat Godzilla...
I've never seen that one but Kong had to have at least tried to do the jaw rip.
When jeremy says they should update intro with jack saying BANG i nearly lost it. Lol
4:50 is my new favorite Geoff quote
"What did France spend that money on?" Napoleon spent it on his campaign to take over Europe!
Jack naming his new cats after BASEketball's protagonists gives me life
The chemistry of this group is great!
34:46 I will never forget the day that senpai acknowledged my monotonous little town
Entertainment: Which game ran a very repetitive ad in Rooster Teeth videos on UA-cam during the summer months of 2018?
CFRF13 I have not once seen the ad in question. I count myself extremely lucky.
39:29 Thanks for the Friends-reference Jeremy, that was awesome
Trivia days are soothing are stressful. Thank you for this new emotion, boys
It's good to start off my morning with a freshly baked Trivia Pursuit video😄🍞
Every let's play in trivia pursuut must start with Jack singing big bang now 😂
"OH GODDAMN IT REALLY???" RYAN JUST WANTS TO GO PLAY SPIDERMAN!!"
"YES I AM!!"
Ryan: "I have something in my eye!"
*digs into eye with his finger and no lubrication, does not flush it with clean water or blink rapidly to make it tear up like he ought to, and likely gives himself a massive corneal abrasion in the process*
Ryan: "Ow, it hurts!"
WELL NO SHIT!!
Gavin description of the butterfly made me laugh so hard.
I love when Jeremy does his bayou voice!
LOL @ 27:06 - "Ryan just wants to play f**king Spider-man!!!" > "Yes I am! Ryan's the real winner!" LOL
I am so happy to hear Geoff in these Let's Plays again! Make him a permanent member of trival pursuit, pleeeaassseeee!
14:55 So glad Gavin and Jeremy were both as disgusted as I am by that misnaming. It's Dr Robotnik!
Got a chuckle when Jack did the Feeny Call from Boy Meets World at 18:45
40:27 Oh my God, did Mike Tyson Mysteries actual have a meta joke in its cast?!
Jeremy singing 50 nifty United States is awesome. I had forgotten about that song
Yay they're back! #TriviaSquad is my favorite.
43:17 No Jack that was HANCOCK.
I love that Jeremy gets a lot of his knowledge from Epic Rap Battles of History
How many white dots in Pac Man?
Jack: “Who the fuck knows that?!”
Ryan: “If only we were videogame professionals...”
this is number 20, jeremy's frog obsession was 19
Was literally talking to a visiting German citizen about the Louisiana Purchase a few days ago. If you didn't see an explanation yet: The LP wasn't so much a purchase of actual territory that the French controlled, so much as a bribe to Napoleon to remove any French claim to that territory. Napoleon was busy fighting pretty much everyone in Europe (and winning) and needed the money to prosecute his wars. So we didn't so much buy the land as buy French interest in North America from that point on.
That, and New Orleans was the gateway into the Mississippi River. Really, all we wanted was New Orleans and for France to leave. The rest of it was just a bonus, since not even France really wanted it back then.
Your all sitting on a couch but aldrun has yet to be put in the damn ground
Hey Jeremy.... Horses can swim. They can swim really well
Horses actually can swim however they usually have to be taught to do so as they have a fear of water based on their failure to determine the depth of water, often horses can freak out around large or deep puddles. It’s pretty funny seeing a huge horse get spooked by a puddle
I was having a really shitty day today and this video just made it all better
Jack, Leslie Winkle is the scientist that Leonard went out with toward the first few seasons. Also arch nemesis of Sheldon Cooper. And used Howard Wolowitz as a booty call.
I love the way Gavin says, "little bear."
At 18:30
44:50 Nice! Reboot characters mixed in and Jack even screams one.... I would have never dreamed it.
They SHOULD have added Mouse in there, because that is a character from BOTH Matrix and Reboot... lolol
Damn I thought for sure AH would’ve put Aldrin in the ground.
XxChooseYourFatexX this comment is so tasteful that it’s a shame nobody will understand it in a month.
I love how the blitz with the matrix question had the other characters from Reboot.
Love the Hook reference. 😁
Jack's Mr. Feeny call still makes me laugh. I always forget it's in here.
"Because Geoff stabbed a can of it with a sword" is somehow both the least expected and least surprising answer to that question.
I love da bayou Jeremy😂
I like how Geoff's stupidity is in a constant fight with his intelligence. It's like half of his brain is super smart and the other half of his brain solely exists to sabotage the smart half.
Did some for the love of god finally avenge Cade?
But we gotta talk about him first, THEN we put Uldren in the ground like we promised
That Ace Ventura reference
I absolutely love that the Matrix questions had Reboot! Characters.
Gosh, that Matrix question is packed to the brim with Reboot characters. Literally the most respect that show has gotten in 20 years.
I can officially say I had a duet with Jeremy. We started singing Forever Young at the same time and it was beautiful
Yay! Battle Buddies for life!!!
I spent a lot of this either being confused or facepalming
as a swimmer, Gavins description of butterfly was absolutely spot on
I'm happy to hear about Spiderman which means there's more episodes hopefully even a full let's watch
Eeyyyy everyone loves a bit of trivia
Geoff knows all about Einhorn & Finkle.
Love that they actually put the hashtag!
Geoff is like a mischievous gremlin that goes around the office to mess with people now
Israel has a giant star RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE lol Jack XD
I like how they got Hitchcock and Hancock confused 😂
2:46!
Yeah you're really right guys that were an 49er vs. Raven super bowl XLVII and they are going into 34 minus Delay causing by the power outages!!!
Thank you Gavin for turning Ryan's pain into our entertainment
At this rate I'd watch the 10 hours of silence video, for all 10 hours, then that Destiny 2 Ad.
Best way to torcher Geoff is to make him watch while these guys play trivial pursuit.
16:10 Any of them, I'm pretty outclassed against Olympic athletes.
I love Geoff in the background
Hitchcock....also starring the famously black actor Anthony Hopkins....I nearly choked my tea with that answer!
Being a swimmer, I must say Gavin’s description of Fly was surprisingly accurate.
Trivial Pursuit is like Mario Cart. It favors last place and the last round flips everything upside down.
Jack smells like cat food, Ryan's got something in his eye, Jeremy's controller dies, Gavin is Gavin, and Geoff is cheating. Welcome to Trivial Pursuit.
On tonight's TOP GEA- I mean, Achievement Hunter.
I just lost it on Gavin is Gavin .... :D :D
I read this right as he said it!!!
I realized that Gavin chokes a lot. Gavin flies into first place at the start, stays there for a long time...then absolutely botches it right at the end. oof
You forgot about how wrong Jeremy and Gavin are about Dr. Eggman's name
