I like the idea of Granny Smith apples. I am cheap, I would be tempted to skip the syrup and just pour the sugar over the macerated apples after you drain them to draw any remaining alcohol back out. Good one, Randy! Thank you!
So I'm using this method as I just made an apple pie moonshine.....mash was corn, apples, apple juice concentrate and malted barley. Stripped it, then macerated with apple pie spices and apples for a week. Then I did the spirit run....the spices came over really nice, but not much apple. So took a gallon of 100 proof and am macerating with some granny smiths right now....will pull in a couple of days and bottle it up!
Drinking game : everytime Randy says "Fantastic " take a drink of some shine. I'm buzzed 🤪
can i play lol
Nice job
Gonna have to give this one a try!
👍👍👍
cheers

thanks for your input cheers my friend
Great video thanks you👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Going to have to try it looks amazing
It's so good!
A green apple jolly rancher taste pretty smooth dropped in a quarter helps it go down a lot smoother.
nice!
That’s interesting!! Should try a mixture of Granny Smith and Fuji apples.
bet that would be good
Might have to try that one. I'm sure it would work equally as well with some 100 PR white rum. Just wouldn't want it to be too sweet......Salude!
I think Rum would be good
Dammit Randy.. Just the Title is killing my liver! I need a sip! 🤤
I think your liver will be ok

Try it with shine from an apple brandy. Cheers
idea!
What about making an apple brandy out of Granny Smith apples
When do we add the sugar. OK At the end. LOL
After you stain out the apples
after some calculations....your proof should be somewhere around 80%
