Genshin is amazingly polished. The animation, soundtrack and visuals are all top notch, better than any modern AAA game, BUT I hate how much it relies on FOMO and I don't mean the gacha. One of the most emotional stories in the game was one where this lady asks you to make a picture book for her bedridden son, but then you find out later her son already died and she forgot because she has fantasy Alzheimer's. You then finish the book anyway except now it's for the lady's sake, in memory of her dead son. A bit cliche but I still sobbed. I would say spoiler alert but if you missed the event, you're never gonna get to play that story anyway. Lots of character stuff is also locked behind events. For example, Cyno likes to tell lame jokes and he's obsessed with the in-universe trading card game (because he's supposed to be a Yu-Gi-Oh reference), but you almost never see this side of him in the game proper. Anyway glad to hear you had fun with it but that was a concerning amount of limited 5-stars in your gameplay for a newish account lol
Most of the Fontaine events took place while I was playing, I loved the Penguin event :) and yea I hear a lot about the events I missed like Albedo and Klee, minigame events and the like, but I figured there's no use crying over spilt milk in my case lol. And yea, it 100% relies on fomo. I'd never defend that part of genshin haha. And yea, i pulled pretty much 1 5 star per patch (or more) with a few skips here and there. Some were free... Obviously some weren't lmao. Ty for watching! I greatly appreciate it
I love genshin so much. I finally broke free of being a meta-slave and the slight gambling addiction; now I get to play my favorite characters and explore without caring about resin and primogems. But that first phase of playing too much?? I was insane.
I played genshit since it came out. Free to play and it was pain. But after 3 years you finaly reach a point where getting new characters is totaly pointless. I am mostly now just sticking to see end of story.
I played Genshin for about 3 hours or so, got a character, took some pics and forgot about it. Dunno what exactly it was but I felt bored at that point or maybe I didn't feel like downloading updates on my sh#itty internet all the time. Gacha Stigma probably didn't help either. So I gave up on it. At least now I got a nice KinzieK video out of it. Cheers!😅
This is one of those games I never really thought about playing, mainly because my friends got SUPER weird about it. Like Cringe-Lord weird, and would make really strange jokes only they knew from the game and then tell everyone else we didn't get it. And then they just stopped playing the game/making weird comments and talking like that one day for no reason. I'm assuming it's some kind of cult mind control game XD
i know it's not good to compare triple a games w gacha games (idk what they are) but when I played GTA V or RDR2, the story really got me hooked bcuz the cutscene doesn't look so stiff compared to genshin and one day i just randomly thought that maybe if i genshin'a scenes wasn't so stiff maybe some people would get hooked up and not be bored. tbf i was excited and got hooked up in the early game.
With my addictive personality i cant touch these but id happily listen to you discuss how to correctly cook toast.
Toast video coming in 2025

Yea I'm really mostly in it to see what that whole "paimon" thing was all about.

Thank you luv, and I'm glad you could watch it. I'd never try to convince anyone to play it ofc lol.
Such a badass video format

Definitely a cult brain game at times from what I see lmao
Never played one of these games, but I have enjoyed many of these characters in other forms of media...anyways. Nice video!
Thanks, BB! ❤️
Great vid as always
😍😍😍
Here before tectone sees it.
I don't expect it, but that would be actually insane lmao.

You're not wrong lmao. I watched several cutscenes to try to mimic that.
Who the hell is Dvorak, and why did they put me in this game without my consent
Chinese game really said "our likeness"
"Zy0x?" had me on the floor lmao
We talk… almost the same exact way and its so scary lmfao.
That just means we're better than most people I guess 😂
