@MJO2Pro My mistake. I was thinking of another guy, Scott Rechsteiner. If he had joined with the Steiners it would have been epic. For that matter, imagine if Big Poppa Pump had joined them. Him, plus Rick who was nuts plus Scott Steiner who could do all those acrobatic moves - that would have been a team. The Steiner Brothers plus Big Poppa Pump plus Scott Rechsteiner would have been like the 4 Horsemen.

Yeah,and Florida,St. Louis,Memphis/CWA and Mid Atlantic were good when you were in those areas to catch 'em. I caught a lotof St. Louis and Memphis Wrestling from spending summers in those cities as a shorty. UA-cam and WWE On Demand carries a lot of the old Mid Atlantic clips and supposed to feature some Florida but I haven't seen any Florida since I suscribed to it.

This was a early match between 2 very green, but talented guys who both should have been big stars in the '90s.Unfortunately Zenk's bad attitude derailed his career.
when you first came across this match, before you watched it, were you hoping that rick was just going to humiliate zenk by completely mauling him in the ring?.....I was.....even before the bell I was picturing rick dominantly punishing zenk in a couple of holds, makin his eyes cross from turnbuckle face smashes, even a "pony ride" middle rope choke!....then cockily toying with him, strutting around cockily, posing to the crowd as zenk is trying to get up off the canvas after a stiff clothesline, basically showing tom what a REAL man does to wimps like zenk in the ring.....but sadly I watched a still green rookie rick have to put the prettyboy with the horse cock zenk over, and made the match seem too unreal for me, you know? I think my version would of been totally believable with their body types here, rick looks like a brick shithouse and zenk's is maybe one you might see coming out of an olympic training swimming pool, you know? in my mind, my versuon is more "jackcam" worthy, hehehe
Before pro wrestling became the crapfest it is today, matches were won with airplane spins, suplexes etc. Now guys take 50 chair shots to the head and get back up. Of course most were done ten times better than Zenk just did.
Because they were not real wrestling fans. All they were was a bunch of fad followers who only wanted to see people they knew from watching TV punch each other.
What a terrible injustice for Rick Steiner to have to lose to Tom Zenk. Zenk sucked and only ever got pushed for his looks. Obviously, his looks couldn't get him too far.
Yeah..they defintely became solid builders and big boys..still like to find a match between Zenk & Paul Roma.
