I have a vast appreciation for how much fuller-sounding “The Death of God’s Will” is compared to “Divine Intervention.” I feel like it coincides with Gabriel’s character turn as he realizes just what he wants out of life. This mix of the two themes captures his journey perfectly. B-)
@@Edski10 **possibly getting a third. Just because it happened in acts 1 & 2 doesn't mean it's gonna happen in the 3rd. People kept having a copium episode about a billion different V2 was totally coning back despite Hakita saying he wasn't and we got the Earthmover instead which is way better.
@@Crackheadcentral2188I've gotten tired of the Ultrakill community lately from stuff like not knowing wtf a leitmotif is, but honestly I will always love how unnecessarily gay//horny it is.
i'm not a musician and don't really know the proper term for it but i honestly really love the "WUUUUUU" parts where the song cuts out and you just hear that noise and i'm glad that you made it more spaced out and common since i feel like it adds a lot to the tone of the song gabriel, at the brink of his once immortal life, slowly cracking and breaking, new feelings welling from deep within, at a constant ping pong of zealotry and heresy. i like to visualize these noises as the clashes during the fight and as the final cracks in his faith, the final nail in the coffin for the counsel, and as the beating pulse of a newly awakened fuckfighter
I don't know what could be described as "wuuu" in this, but I'm assuming you're talking about the stutter//tape-stop//glitch effect, in which case thank you. I'm a big fan of that effect, I picked up incorporating in to music from Shiro SAGISU, composer for Evangelion, Shin Godzilla, Berserk and other properties, specifically his songs where he collaborates with his friend and colleague CHOKKAKU! I highly recommend their music, it's a big influence on how I do industrial//metal.
the transitions between songs here are incredible. the way they build up to each other is really accurate to Gabriel's mindset during each fight and its subsequent phases. I'm unbelievably excited for his theme in Act 3
Ultrakill’s lore is so unique, literally everything is just headed straight to void, like by the end of V1’s wrath there will be nothing left in existence but void
I really hope that act 3 Gabriel’s theme (I’ve decided to name it something like Unholy Matrimony) really uses more guitars instead of the violin but also a with really powerful opera backing to make the whole thing really feel like a final battle against the heavenly powerhouse that is Gabriel
