I have been catching a bunch of spikes to just under keeper size trout in the bay. Paddle tails, gulp shrimp, DOA shrimp and occasionally live shrimp under a popping cork. I think I fish just a tad south of where you fish in Sarasota.
Agreed! The trout population is thriving, and the big ones seem to be back!
