So from what I can gather by Fred's clothing, the patch on his sleeve reads "Home Guard". The British home guard in WWII was a volunteer service for anyone too old or young or otherwise unfit for service to act as another line of defense at home. Based on the cap he pulls off of us, we must be one such volunteer in the home guard, who Fred is now giving a regulation haircut to. Because we are in the home guard, it is unlikely we are fit for proper military service, which explains his disdain for us.

It's amazing how we went from this to right now in just 80 years approximately. Both WW feels like it happened so long ago but it's in fact not that long if we look closely at year gap between then and right now.
I almost don't understand English from Russia, so I turned on the subtitles, and because of the incorrect translation of the subtitles there was the phrase "Short back" and the phrase "Beard" was changed as "bed" and I thought that I was offered to lie down on the bed to trim my short back and just get a haircut
you know, even though I don’t know English, there is automatic translation with subtitles and... It’s so soulful in this ASMR, is there something special about it that is not found in others, perhaps the atmosphere? I don't know
