    Who are we?
The Capuchin Province of St. Conrad was established in 1977 serving the people of Colorado, Kansas, Texas and the foreign missions in Papua, New Guinea. The province’s eight stateside friaries are located in Denver, Blackforest, and Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Lawrence, Kansas and San Antonio, Texas. Usually found in the poorer sections of towns and cities, the Capuchins have a special charism for working among the poor and marginalized and taking assignments that others refuse. “When times were at their worst and help was sorely needed, in places that were abandoned and where no one else would go, there you will find the Capuchin.” ~ Pope Pius XI
    What is a Capuchin Franciscan?
In the 16th century, a group of Franciscans were inspired to live the Franciscan lifestyle in a more radical manner, returning to the original emphasis on prayer and poverty. These men broke away from the Franciscans and began a reform movement which stressed the priority of contemplative prayer and a more rigorous austerity. Wearing habits with large hoods, they soon garnered the name cappucio, the Italian word for “hood.” The Capuchins received approval of their way of life and were recognized as an official, independent branch of the Franciscans in 1525 in the papal bull Religionis Zellus.

The Trinity is not an easy reality to reflect on and to make clear. Well done.

    When a Catholic gets baptized does this happen ( Acts 19: 5, 6 ) . If it doesn't try ( Galatians 1: 12 )

@@CapuchinFranciscans You depend on what was taught to you in 431AD . I depend on 33 when Jesus said
in ( Matthew 15:9 ) NABRE " In vain do they worship me, teaching as in your case doctrines of the Council of Ephesus, or doctrines of men. I only hear 1 doctrine which comes from Jesus , ( Matthew 10:4-5 ) NABRE . These councils of yours are strangers ( Matthew 10:5*) NABRE Final note this is 2024 the year of our Lord, not the year of your Lord 1593 as in 431

By strengthening your relationship with each person of the trinity you have created 3 Gods ,they all have to be involved simultaneously or you have 3 Gods. In the NAB page 30 N T Matthew 10:20 and page 91 N T Mark 13:11 the 1st person of the trinity and the 3rd person of the trinity are the same person. Page 70 N T Matthew 28:19 the 2nd person of the trinity and the 3rd person of the trinity page 205 N T Acts 20:28* are also the same person. How Peter got to be the 1st pope and you don't follow Acts 2:38 page 180-181N T and Acts 10:48 page 192 N T is beyond me. If you follow Matthew 28:19 shouldn't Matthew be the 1st pope ? My uncle made rosary beads for St. Anthony's Church in Revere, Ma. I was 9 years old at the time. When I turned 20 he was still making them.

Christianity is a fundamentally trinitarian religion, confessing three persons in one God who are one in essence.

@@CapuchinFranciscans Does that mean in Matthew 1:20 an Luke 1:35 that the 3rd person aka the dove that overshadowed Mary is the Father of Jesus?

The earthly father of Jesus is St. Joseph, meant to shepherd over Jesus in an earthly way. Jesus' father is God the Father, and his mother was "overshadowed" by the Holy Spirit who caused her to conceive. Yet these trinitarian persons are one God.
