The color accuracy of the HP Victus: sRGB 68% - Adobe RGB Gamut - 51% - DCI-P3 Gamut 51%, is terrible. And there's no excuse for that wobbly screen when a simple tightening of the hinge would give some basic quality. The HP Omen also has a wobbly screen, which shows you how little HP cares about their products. I agree that the silver one looks the best, Ben, but that's all this laptop has going for it IMO.
1st. Color accuracy depends on model you bought. There are couple of dozens of variations. 2nd. Wobbling screen - is what market asked for. They wanna cheaper, more powerful, thinner, and main feature - open with one finger. They wanna macbook for half or even 1/3 price. They can buy aluminum, thin, pretty powerfull, without wobling screen, with better screen, but without nvidia or amd gpu. But it would be a laptop for work, like mac, not a gaming laptop. For 700-800$ you want all the features? Then save more money and buy expensive.

How to tight the hinge screws ... Can u say it
@@MONSTRICKILLER well said
@@CurtainsForSale thx. And yeah. I bought one like this. It doesn't wobble like hell. It is like any other laptop
@@MONSTRICKILLER what did you buy? i am looking for a laptop for mainly work but i also want to play games sometimes. that's why i'm not buying a macbook air and searching is really frustrating. would you recommed me couple of laptops please?
Victus ryzen 5 or i5 12th gen which is better for 3d rendering
Intel i5
Hello brother, does this laotop is suit for VMware virtualization ?
i am going for hp victus 15 rtx 4060 and i5 12500h for 932 bucks
is this purchase worth it?
Better get the Ryzen 7 version, but that not that bad tho
Does anyone have a stuttering game every few seconds in some games? How do i fix this....some games like gta v, wwe 2k23 run smoothly. When its come apex legends, stray, cyberpunk...the stuttering occurs so bad
Dual channel RAM + Get rid of bloatware + Elevate the laptop slightly to allow for better air circulation.
check your heat, use something to lift the laptop up, and switching to ECO or quiet in omen hub, that'll solve the heat problem
btw i prefer heavy gaming on PC, don't over heat your laptop too much
oh yeah, you should upgrade the ram to duel channel aswell, careful when you pick the ram tho, some maybe not compatible and cause blue screen for this laptop
Can we add 2 x 16 GB ram instead of 2 x 8 GB RAM for this model?
Yes you can dude!
Could a hp victus 15-fa0xxx rtx 3050, i5 intel core 12500h, 16g ram, 500 ssd run roblox?
If u wanna laptop for all purposes just buy it
Does this also apply for the 15 model?
It depends. Does what apply for the 15 model... It does have a similar battery life and screen wobble.
@@elitemeemoosood9869 dang sorry i just realised my question was dumb af lol. Thanks for the response anyways! 😁
hp victus 15 or lenovo thinkpad e 15 , which one is better?
the thinkpad e15 built for normal use while hp victus is for gaming (more performance) .
Hi
What's better
I5 12500h with 4 p-core and 8i-core
Or i5 11400h with 6p core and no I-core
What's better for gaming
Intel 12th gen is obviously better but they have DRM issues with lot of games especially older games.
@@emil_king8237what does DRM mean brother?
May I ask which of the following two models is more recommended for movie editing and 2D drawing?
1. msi GF66 12UDOK 627tw
i7-12700H/Ram 16G DDR5/512G Pcie SSD M.2 4x4/RTX3050Ti
2.HP Victus 16-d1028TX i7-12700H/Ram 8G DDR5(self-expand to 16G)/ 512G Pcie SSD M.2 4x4/RTX3050Ti
Thank you so much~~
I would always go for 16gb of RAM nowadays. For 2D drawing you'll be fine with 8 gb but I have my doubts if it would still be enough for editing.
Victus 16! More warranty, more life
Gf66 is not that great
Long Run - Go for HP.
I recently bought a HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD 144Hz Display, AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS, 32GB DDR5 RAM, 2TB PCIe M.2 SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050, HDMI, Webcam, Backlit Keyboard, Wi-Fi 6, Windows 11 Home, Silver
Will this work for video editing?
Yes, it will work
This dude started by telling me that the refresh rate defines the image quality
Is this lcd display or oled
I'm on a budget and planning to buy this exact laptop for video editing (4k). Should I go for it ?
Same question , please reply
I have the exact variant and it runs 4k video editing pretty well.
@@Euroticc hey, thank you so much for replying. Can you update how does it feel now

How much is screen response time ms
Idk why, but my battery lasts 3 hours using UA-cam or browsing the Internet. I'll return it and buy another one because I really think that my product is faulty.
No its normal its a gaming laptop. But for more battery you can turn off dedicated gpu and lower brightness

Does the screen wobble?
Guys who owe it, would you describe fans as quiet or rather noisy (not saying about performance mode) just while making easy tasks like internet browsing, you tube, etc ?
I doubt that the fans would even work while you're browsing internet, you don't have to worry about it. Even if it did it'd be silent, nothing to worry about
If you’re in front of electric fan it wobbles. Major con is poor battery life, display and cam. I could have purchase MacBook Air or iPad Air. Very poor battery life.
I bought this hp victus corei5 12th generation 16gb ram 512gbssd
But it have battery issues whenever i open it its charge is 0 than shut downs

I've got the same but with 32 gb ram already installed for only $599 😊
