I have been listen to the playlist I made of your songs! I just want to say that all of your songs are just so completely beautiful and filled with the most wonderfully emotional intelligent poetry! One after another a gem in a treasure chest! Thank you Ron!🌹🤍
While you intend this as a compliment, Ron has already explained his thinking. Would you have him change his piano next? Please just accept it for what it is.
@@davidb8731 Thank you for your reply, David. It is indeed a compliment. Unfortunately, I haven't seen him saying anything about quality of these recordings. Can you please point out where? I can only guess that such quality, perhaps, makes it easier for him to sit down and actually record these versions. I know it because I also have more expensive microphones and recording environments, but prefer to record via my smartphone most of the time because I like the sound and it doesn't accentuate many things that I don't like about my singing. However, this is Ron in his prime. I think it might be the best of the best of his recordings. I really think so. Piano, arrangements, etc. it's all up to him. But audio quality is just that. Audio quality. I'd like to download all of these versions and convert them into mp3 and have tens of songs recorded on piano. But in such quality your ears and anyone ears will be tired after 2-3 songs, because the quality is really that bad. In other words, imagine John Lennon recording genius versions of different songs in bad quality. Wouldn't you beg him to upgrade the quality for yourself and others and future generations? It's like asking Bach to leave notes to his music, you know? And I do think that Ron's songwriting talent is on par or suppresses Lennon&McCartney talents combined. And I think that he stands as the greatest composer of all time, meaning, together with Bach, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, etc. So, do you really think I am that offensive in my persistent wish that a genius like Ron would record songs in better quality? I'm not talking about pro equipment, just some Shure SM58 or 200$ condenser would be enough. I'm poor as hell but I'd gift him all my microphones or buy him a new one if he only agreed to make better recordings. A person's talent really does belong to him. But it also belongs to all of us. I think most of the talented people do believe in that. And these versions are really the best versions of the best songs of probably one of the best songwriters in the history of time, past and future. I'm done.
@@garrywindshield1 In response to your comment 2 weeks ago on "This is how I know", Ron actually replied to you, which is a rare thing. Are you saying you missed it? Anyway he said he doesn't have a microphone and it's about spirit not audio quality. So as I said, would you like to respect the artist's sensibility and opinion or not?
@@davidb8731 For some reason I'm not receiving notifications about replies on UA-cam. Thanks for good news! I carefully keep a screenshot from Ron's reply on Reddit from 7 years ago. Now I have two replies. That's more than I can...believe I have. It means a lot to me. Well, if Ron have replied to me directly than of course I personally shouldn't insist, I have no right to do so anymore.
