Rachel, You are upbeat and excited much of the time with Beckham. From years of experience I can tell you that during feeding time, keeping your voice at a normal tone and level is best. Beckham is not “incredibly brave” with his food. He is scared and suspicious of anything different coming towards his mouth. He is not making progress on increasing solids, or in feeding himself. He is a precious little boy that has a lot of obstacles to overcome in his life. He’s not going to remain a little boy forever. Rachel and Hunter adore him. I just hope they understand that Beckham will have to learn boundaries, develop a sense of responsibility, and contribute towards being a productive family member. He is not too young or disabled to pick up his toys and put them where they belong, or wipe up his tray after he eats, (the same for every young child). He is not too young or disabled to learn not to pull or grab at Chloe. He’s not too young to have consequences for deliberate negative behavior. For example- throwing toys from his high chair - Nope. Take them away and tell him why. CP kids can be incredibly strong willed. The same characteristic that help them overcome obstacles can also cause them test to boundaries and yes, be obstinate. I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for you. Long after the beautiful words and accolades are over for the day, you and Hunter must face this huge responsibility by yourselves. Allow yourself self pity, anger, grief. You deserve it. You mentioned that Beckham was without placental support for three hours before he was born. Is that correct? If it is correct, may I ask why doctors waited so long to remove Beckham in a C section?

Also, have you tried to give him choice of foods?
to me he looked nauseas when presented the food...keeping in what he already ate is more important than inducing vomiting..im not being insulting..but as a special needs teacher you have to learn to read nonverbal cues
@@marjanf56 I agree and what is the point in showing Beckham vomiting on camera not once, but a second time. Every kid throws up that is not unique to someone who has Cerebral Palsy. Paying attention and reading Beckham nonverbal cues and and when he is vocal is very important on camera as well as off camera. “He doesn’t throw up he doesn’t throw up he doesn’t throw up”
Him: 🤮
Why would you post a video of him throwing up and use it as a thumbnail? Those are private moments and shouldn't be put out for the public to see.
She is doing this so other people have ideas on what it's like having children with disabilities
he or she didnt vomit he or she pooped the mouth
Stop being silly
If you don't don't want to watch it just scroll
@@Bestie_K HOW , ITS A VID
But did you get her to come back home?
Rachel: He never throws up *beckham throws up* DONT JINX IT! 😂 I feel bad for beckham

It’s so great how you can calmly handle this type of situation ❤
I just wanted to say yall are amazing parents!!! The kids are so happy and precious! My kids and i love watching you!! Beckham has been doing so good and learning so much!!!
This means so much to us Amanda! Thank you for your love and support 🥹💗
@@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ always!! Thank you for sharing your family with us!! I always tell the kids stay brave like Beckham!!
Beckham is a hero, it’s all practice for him! We saw Becks eating those bits of food from his toy, he was into it! One day, one by one, all things are gong to come together🥰
Yes one day it will ALL come together! Go Beckham!
Two bows on those cute piggy tails would have made it perfect. Even tying ribbon on then would have been perfect.
Why y’all saying it’s you shouldn’t have post of him throwing up are y’all like even paying attention not in a mean way though but she didn’t know that he was gonna throw up so….. I don’t think that it was weird. I think it was a good video for us
Exactly💯❤
Exactly ❤
IKR!?
Good for him throwing up yall are bitches
Yeah but she didn't have to post it she posted her child throwing up its not like she finished it and its on youtube right away
My little one just started school, and she doesn't eat in the morning before school either. I think it's nerves. I take her out to eat and it's a fun experience for me and her. I wasn't going to start her this year, but her class is just once a week. It'll be a good transition to full time school next year.
not him grabbing the throw-up and thinking he's gonna eat it
Blakely did so good with preschool! She is such a good sister to Beckham! He is making so much progress!
Thank you Charlotte! I adore their relationship!
Yes Beckham and Blakely have a special bond. I love how they interact with each other.
I'm so sorry that people can be so rude to you in theare comments 😔. You're not to overly exited for Beckham. I would be to. I don't feel that you need to tone anything down. You be just as excited about Beckham as you want. He's you're son. I also get exited for him like that as well. You should see me cheering him on to. As if he could really heare me lol 😅. As I've said before. I've also got cp . I've neaver been able to take big bits or eat fast like my family does. I didn't know until a couple of years ago that it was dew to the cp. Who would have thunk it. Please keep sharing. I want to keep up with how he's doing 💯. Blakely is in preschool. What a big 👧.
You're such a kind person! Thank you for being here and supporting us!
I agree
He is doing awesome and just a question that if it’s hard for you then don’t have to answer it but how do you know choke or just like a food texture (I don’t know how to explain that)
?
I love how she keeps saying he’s doing he’s doing is like so funny I don’t know why but all these other comment or like kind of mean in my mind to get a nose like I like how she says he’s chewing like he’s doing so good and like I like yeah it’s just so good and I just wanna know why he can’t you up so much if that’s a question that you can answer 15:05
I could’ve sworn Blakely said, hot dog. I’m not a breakfast eater either, Blakely.
Mama! Your determination is amazing! Keep doing it!!! You are right…this will pay off!
The side eye👀 When you said good morning
Can't wait to see the new vlog and hope you guys have a great Wednesday afternoon and evening with the kids and hope Beckham feels better soon and hope Blakely has fun at preschool.
Awe thank you! Blakely had an amazing time at school 💗
“He doesn’t throw up” famous last words 🥲
I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for you. Long after the beautiful words and accolades are over for the day, you and Hunter must face this huge responsibility by yourselves. Allow yourself self pity, anger, grief. You deserve it. You mentioned that Beckham was without placental support for three hours before he was born. Is that correct? If it is correct, may I ask why doctors waited so long to remove Beckham in a C section?
Beckham, Is such a brave boy doing this and you shouldn’t pay attention to their posting a video because it’s not your life it’s their life and maybe they’re doing it for a reason and I pray for Beckham
We all love you❤❤❤❤❤❤
Do you ever change Blakelys sheet? I've seen that same sheet for awhile.
Im so very happy that Blakely is
doing good in preschool.
Awe thank you! Me too! 💗
@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ I hope that Blakely will do good in preschool this year
Aww he did so well. Love lil miss is in preschool I think that will be wonderful for her and her development and make some friends. Have you tried the applesauce pouches or the baby food pouches he can kinda suck on them and help with his hand to mouth coordination? Or try small amounts of uncrustables that are still a bit frozen pieces for him to get use to it since he likes yours? I’m sure you know what’s best and I love watching your vlogs. He’s so cute. ❤
Yes, we've tried everything. (:
@@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ It's going to take time, Beckham's time. Your handsome little king will will master eating and whatever else he tries or comes his way I have no doubt. Hang in there mom and dad. You're little man can and will do it! He has come so far already. Those of that were preemies are fighters and I know you know that.
He is so precious! My son does the same thing. It’s very hard at times and it can be overwhelming:( your doing amazing !
This might be a silly question but does Beckham seem to have a hard time in the morning when his body is first waking up? Like does he seem to need some extra time to get his body up and moving around? I dont think you understand how inspiring you are, honestly. You have really made such a positive out of such hard situations babe and i swear to you i cant even put it into words how amazing i think you are. God bless you and yours mamas ❤❤❤❤❤
Aw poor buba… Also, SUPER CUTE DRESS BLAKELY!!
When he threw up, I felt so bad and it scared me❤
The bus is so helpful like that 9:06
Beckham has come so far i am so incredibly proud of him and how far he as come he is so brave
Rachel I've been watching the shorts too. Beckham is doing so well and I bet Blakely will have so much fun in preschool. Amazing Beckham that tried the peanut butter.

But he filled up. I’m still happy for him cause he he still ate the food.❤❤❤😮😮😮

You have to let little people explore with there food/ letting them the freedom to touch it squish it in their hands allowing them the freedom to feel the textures and smells/ getting messy is unfortunately part of it / and it is time consuming to know each meal Time can take up to 1 hour to get through/ but by doing this early on / the time gets cut in half / there’s no easy way around it / they never learn to be self sufficient independent eaters if you do all the spooning yourself to speed things along in the long run sets and holds their milestones back / ✌️💕🙏👍
Awe I didn't know you had a child with Cerebral Palsy as well! Although that may be your experience, I've been blessed with incredible therapist and guides to help me know when and how much to push him. Best of luck on your journey with a disabled toddler 💗
I agree, when you are feeding Mr. Beckham help him, but also let him try as it also may be more enjoyable for him later on as well. He is really learning and has learned a lot of new things and I believe that he will continue to do so.
@@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ I had a brother/ May he RIP /I was only trying to help you/ you put your business out there and then treat me as if I did something wrong with my Comment which is called comments/ again I was trying to pass on what I have learned in my 60 years of experience/ dear god your just to nasty for me to even waste my precious time on / words out 😘
I hope she knows she is a great mother❤
She really is but these haters I swear they are just rude. Karma is coming back to them rq.
Why does Blakely not have blankets in her bed?
Why did you comment in this section?

Love you family! You are such a good mom! The love you have for your family is so evident in everything you do 🥰
Thank you Meg! This means the absolute world to us!
I will mention if they feel of certain vibrating or something like that cause I have this happen before they will eventually get sick and throw up if they have a certain movement before they eat
He doesn’t throw up he doesn’t throw up YES HE DOES
Whoa whoa whoa wait, did she just say chicken nuggets for breakfast? I want chicken nuggets for breakfast!!!
Haha girl same!
He did such a good such a good job and he is so cute❤❤
As soon as she said "Are you ready for preschool?" She woke up😂
13:53 when he throws up😖
7:56 thats better than mine 😭😭😭
Love your more natural hair color. You are so brave making the change. You have an interesting channel and give much insight into family dynamics. One more tiny adjustment would make you truly more relatable ..
Nix the lashes...they are too large and detract from your authentic beauty. Look how good your hair looks. KISS...keep it simple sweetheart. ❤❤❤ love ya either way.
Thank you so much for the sweet comment about my hair! However, I'd never adjust something on my face to fit your preference. Just like I'd never criticize your beauty preferences or choices. I don't care about your opinion on what I look like and you shouldn't care about my opinion on what YOU look like.
9:56 Blakely in the back ❤
First thing in the morning, but of course I have my fake lashes on 😂
Congrats on starting preschool Blakeley ❤
Thank you!!
@@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ your welcome 👍 🙂
Why not wait until Beckham is able to give consent to post these kinds of moments to the internet? It feels very…exploitative when you post his vulnerable moments without his consent.
Because this content has become part of their income, so theres that 😕
How old is he
Your kids are so cute🍉
Beckham is doing amazing with eating..
It's going to take time.. I'm so glad that Blakely loves pre school
He really is! He is such a rockstar!
Hey Rachel, I was wondering why do you give Beckham baths in the sink?
We bathe him in the sink because it's so much easier on not only us but him! It's wonderful that we can use the sprayer as well (:
@@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ glad it works for now, but I am looking forward to the day that you all are in a more accessible home for Beckham. I also bet he would love to swing like he does at the park. :)
@@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ oh okay. That makes total sense. Plus it honestly looks like Beckham really enjoys his baths!!
rebeckham; he clearly shook his head no when you offered him food..dont force
Yes he did and as soon as he saw what he was going to be fed, he pushed Rachel's hand away, turned his head, shook his head no. He also put his fingers in his mouth trying get it out. He may not like the taste that's all. Rachel Beckham has come so far keep trying different foods. Perhaps not the meringue again or at least not for awhile.
It was hard to watch sweet Beckham go through that, but everyone does it. Thank goodness he didn't aspirate. Paying attention and reading Beckham nonverbal cues and and when he is vocal is very important on camera as well as off camera. I am 54, college educated, and to this day I have a really bad gag reflex and when I vomit it is not pretty, but it's the way it it.
Ikr?
You can’t be so judge mental it Rachel’s choise to do that or not she is not forcing
You are such a good mom
Thank you Katherine! That means the world to me 🥹
He's so cute
But what did she eat
Yes you should pay attention on how brave he is whoop whoop 🙌 BECHHAM
