ਜੇ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਮਾਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਜ਼ਿਟਰ ਵੀਜ਼ੇ issue ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੇ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਮੁਲਕਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆਏ ਬਹੁਤਾਂਤ ਲੋਕ ਇਥੋ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ। number is increasing.
ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ status ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ exploit ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
LMIA ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਸੀਰੀ ਰਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੋਈ ਪਈ ਆ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਚ ਸੀਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਸੇ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਏਥੇ ਸੀਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਸੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
ਇਸ Govt ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ KICK out ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਬਾਦਲਾਂ ਆਲਾ ਕੰਮ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਐਨਾ ਗੰਦ ਪਾ ਦਿਉ ਕਿ ਆਉਣ ਆਲੀ GOVT ਉਲਝੀ ਰਹੇ ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਨਾ ਪਾਏ।

The international student program visaholder signs the contract for a temporary stay and he is clearly advised about the prgram. We should not hold government responsible for the entire fiasco of sutdent visa prgram. The student and immigartions lawyers are more responsible for the BS. I dont understand Why we are bragging with (over)confidence that all the students will never go back. We are unnecessarily enflaming the student sentiment to create social chaos. We are indirectly creating illegtimate hope and expectations among the international student community.

You're presenting unfounded arguments. The government never promised permanent residency to any student. There are no candies in hospitals, no vacancies in schools, a significant housing issue, and unemployment is at its peak, yet here you are making these baseless claims.
Govt. should create new jobs, stop visas to every category (students, spouse visas,work permit,visitors etc.) for two to three years Start CEC draws for general students.

Governments bad policies lead to this crisis. Giving extensions three times have pushed all the expiring permits to 2024 , 2025. Now they decline to extend and also crs score is super high. Lots of students will not have option other than going home. Some students can gain 1 year experience back in their country and still apply for cec or learn french. There are opportunities but those need so much hard work and dedication. I myself had to learn French for Quebec pr it was so much time consuming and hard to learn in the beginning. But it’s still possible.
How much time it took to get to B2 level
@@japneetsingh6637 I studied for 4 year in Quebec plus for 1 year I took French classes on pgwp. Was also working alongside learning French. Took me a year. If someone doesn’t know much French can take longer or someone who is studying full time and very smart can learn faster. At the end it depends on person and their situation. Not same for everyone

@@japneetsingh6637 yes it’s totally possible. I had no social life when I was studying. I watched lots of French shows plus I was in Montreal already which helped. Took classes and online coaching. After 6 months I started to feel confident that I would be able to do it. I m sure u can do that as well.

Why you guys are saying that government knows that you come for PR. In sop and study permit it’s clear mentioned that you will leave Canada on the date mentioned. It’s applicant problem that they taken as granted that they will get PR. It’s clearly students misunderstanding about programs. Government is legally clear, they mentioned leaving date in study permit.

I feel for the students because they're in a tough spot but the student program wasn't a surprise to them. When they came, it was their responsibility to understand that the student program doesn't guarantee a PR. I agree with a ban (temporarily) on new students - I don't get how we can still keep letting new students in...it doesn't make sense. Asylum and LMIA are not legitimate ways of getting your PR - please stop publicizing them on your platform. This makes the problem worse for everyone, not better.
Exactly, these people also somehow support the students while Canadian government never promised anyone a PR on completing their studies. It was done by the Immigration agents.
The govt. did invite a lot of students because it was easy money for them. That is what is a bit unethical on the part of the government. Allow only a number that you can accommodate. Students couldn't even find jobs.

Canadian educational institutions charge 4x fees in comparison to domestic students and provide useless education. Government allowed unbridled immigration and opened numerous PR pathways for students to attract foreign money for supporting their economy. It was an 'undeclared promise' to give PR to international students.
In that sense govt does not promise for the jobs as well..

Shameel ji, in nut shell you are making the case that all should be granted PR. Correct, if they do not qualify, remove all the criteria for them. but why only for students, give pr to all those who are without status. and this all be outside the annual quota. this will not even solve the problem, because new international student, 36500 annually and with their spouses will make 500000 (don't assume that spousal visa is stopped now, but that is stopped only when they are on student visa, once they are on work permits after 1 to 2 years of study, they can have their spouses here), will not be absorbed in PR quota of 500k, so demand that the new students will be given pr right after their higher study of 1 year diploma, otherwise you will have to make this kind of lobbying every year.
Indian Graduation is way better than Canadian studies. Canadian politician should know this. All students are here for PR and they should be given PR if they have not done anything illegal during their stay.

Shammi ji I have to disagree on deportations. A lot of students would get PRs anyway. Australia did deportations when they messed up. Dubai manages 80% expat populations.
Dubai never gives you permanent immigration. I worked there five years. You stay there for work visa only. Nobody creates nonsense like here for making you permanent.
But gcc countries dont give pr. in the age of 50/60 you have to go back your countries
