Had an FZ2500 a few years ago. Really liked the features in that hybrid camera. This is, of course, a different beast. Very nice. I’m wondering though…you started out saying you wanted two of the same bodies. Is the button layout the same on those two with the only difference being the video capability? I’ve since gone with Sony so not really too familiar with layout of this series by LUMIX. I did enjoy the one I had though.

Was looking for one yesterday and saw Amzon had the S5 iix with a 20-60mm and 50mm lens bundle down for $2,349.99... I didn't pull the trigger and two hours later the price is now at $2,947.99... 😭😭😭😭

I love Park Cameras at Burgess Hill! I was there last year buying my Z 8, and earlier this year trading in my 24-70 f/4 for a 24-120 f/4. A few years ago, they were excellent with my then-teenage daughter, when she wanted a tripod with a gimbal head for wildlife photography. Absolutely no attempt to rip her off, they did their best to find a good deal for her.
Nice - I go every now and then when I prefer to actually buy the camera in the shop. It’s a nice process in the world of Amazon 😃

Yeah, I think the S5ii is a game changer with the new AF. Some great bundle packages out there at the moment, which was why I bought mine
Good choice. If you buy the upgrade for the S5II you are at the same price but you get more with S5IIX.

Same mount so my Leica lenses work with these too - but lumix cameras are much better in my experience
