Hi neighbour, I am so sorry you were not afforded the same access as we were given. Not being given the choice to discard damaged possessions was not fair. I totally understand the feelings you have had in the months since. The trauma never goes away, and the struggle to re-build our lives has been a massive up hill struggle. I hope that in time we all find peace and can move on from that horrific day. Even watching the images again, and seeing us sitting under the tree with our cats and dog, brings back all the memories. Take care both of you, and take each day as it comes xxx
Hello neighbour :D Thanks for leaving a message! I hope yous are getting up on your feet and have some sort of normality now. It is, and I think it will always be hard seeing those images and remember all that happened on that day and the days after, and in my case was made worse by the shocking treatment we had and the consequences of that. But it wasn't/isn't easy for anyone, knowing that 44 families lost their homes in a matter of minutes because of someone else's action makes me sick :( Time will sort it out but as you well said, one day at a time. It's obvious that whoever 'dumped' your belongings knew what they were doing and knew exactly how to play the legal system. A very brave video Spell. Your honesty is inspirational. What a shit time you’ve had but as you said, you’re turning a corner and now onwards and upwards. I don’t know if you saw a message I left you on another video but it would be great to meet up with you. I live in Midlothian and planning to sit my big test in the spring. Currently on my first bike (Husqvarna Svartpilen 125) but I’m going to buy a Sport Glide as my next bike when I pass my test - I cannot wait. It would be cool to meet up if you were up for that.
