안녕하세요 아라님~~ 2주간 건강하셨나요? 그 사이 저는 종강을 앞두고 조오금 바쁜 나날을 보냈답니다😂😂 예쁜 가방이 등장한다 했더니 제품 제공을 받아보셨군요! 다이어리와 소품들에서만 색상을 맞추시는 줄 알았더니 가방에 꼭 어울리는 신발 색상에 눈길이 갑니다. 지난번에 구매하신 마스킹 액 잘 사용하고 계시는군요! 볼때마다 신기한 재료라서 저도 슬쩍 마음 속 장바구니에 담아두었어요😉 요새엔 여기에... 뭐가 들어가긴 하나? 싶을 크기의 미니백이 유행이라니 영상에 등장한 정도의 가방은 아주 적당한 크기인 것 같아요.
헉, 척봐도 맛있어보이는 빵들... 주변에 저렇게 탐스러운 체리 타르트를 파는 곳이 없어 조금 아쉽습니다.
영문 스탬프 활용이 정말 예뻐요. 어울리는 색감끼리 맞추는건 재능의 영역이라고 생각하는데 아라님의 다이어리에서는 늘 잘 어우러지는 색감이 보여서 눈이 즐겁습니다. 흑흑. 살짝 출출해지는 시간에 탐스러운 빵들을 봐서 배가 고파졌어요😂 오늘 영상도 재밌게 보았어요! 감사합니다💓💓

영상에 나온 가방을 요즘 잘 가지고 다니는데요, 역시 뒤로 백팩처럼 맸을 때가 가장 편하더라구요. 작은 가방치고 많이 들어가는데 어제는 외출했다가 서류봉투와 샌드위치 등을 받은 바람에 가방에 안 들어가서 손에 바리바리 들고 왔지 뭐예요😂우산이랑 가디건도 손에 들고 있었는데... 그래서 짐이 많은 날엔 더 큰 가방을 들어야겠구나하고 다짐했답니다ㅋㅋ 저 빵집은 집에서 차로 5분 정도 거리에 있는 곳인데 빵 종류가 많아서 다음에 또 가보려고 해요~ (사실 체리 타르트는 보기엔 무척 예뻤는데 맛은 기대보단 평범했어요😅) 하지만 다른 빵들이 너무 맛있어서 재방문해보고 싶었습니다 ㅎㅎ 빵이랑 떡을 너무 좋아해서 큰일이에요, 당뇨를 조심해야할 거 같아요🤣

I find that I like to do lookbooks too, but I make them for what I plan to wear. I think I should start wearing the outfits I plan more often, but I tend to choose comfy practical clothes to wear these days. But I'm trying to get better at making more effort for myself😅.
I think in your very cute illustrations you captured a very happy light mood👗🥿👜, and that you made the handbag just as refreshing as your watercolours🌷. The cat sticker was also so cute! I was also really touched that your nephew picked out such a good and well-suited washi for you🥺☺️!
These past 2 weeks have been filled with many small things for me. My bed was delivered very quickly. I didn't sleep for 2 nights though, because the bed set is higher than my old bed. Even my nightstand is too low now. I was really afraid I was going to fall off the bed in my sleep🙃! Every time my mom sees it she laughs🤦🏽♀️😅🤣. She said that at least I won't have to be worried about the Tokoloshe( this is a tiny imp that some cultures in our country traditionally believe in- we don't- and he is supposed to play tricks on people when they are sleeping in bed. So in the old days [and even now] some people would even make their beds higher by putting them on top of bricks🛌🏽🧱).
But I'm used to the height now and I can sleep😴. I chose very pretty bedding, and lots of cushions (LOTS). It also means I have a DIY project to try. I have to change the wood legs on my nightstand to make my nightstand higher. It's a really good nightstand and the style fits my aesthetic well, but they don't make any that are taller in the local stores. So I thought it would be good to just revamp it. I've bought the legs, and I even bought paint to paint it a different colour. I'm just a little but scared of actually changing the legs🛠👷🏽♀️. If I'm brave I'll try to do it tomorrow😅😶😬.
I also bought a new laptop and earphones after a long time. But I still have to set them up. I don't know why, but when I buy some things, like tech things, I leave them in their box for a few days after checking that they arrived working💻👀👀👀. I think it's because I hate setting up new devices.
I did a few garden things too, the most important of which is an experiment with roses🌹: I found a small patio rose pot at the hardware store, which was healthy, had a very good price and was the type of colour I was looking for. But there was only one pot. I tried looking for a matching colour at other branches, but I couldn't find any. I had noticed though, that the plant wasn't just one stem coming up from the soil, but it was actually 5 stems🔍🧐. So I carefully checked the soil, and saw that it was 5 different plants with separate root systems😮. I never noticed that they sold patio roses like that because I usually buy bigger sized rose bushes. So I separated them into 2 for 2 matching pots. I've had them planted for 5 days, and they are doing well so far. 🤔I think if they grow well, this means that in the future I could actually try to mix rose plants with different colours. Maybe I can make it look like different colours are growing from one bush😌.
All of my muscari bulbs are growing too. They are just leaf shoots🌱, but I'm surprised at how quickly they sprouted. A lot of plants are still growing well and have flowers even though it is technically winter🌞🌬🥶🌹🌼🌹🌼🌹.
Quite a bit of stationery has arrived in the post for me, so I've had to reorganize my items. I've managed to put my Christmas items in their own box, and my inks in their own small box too. I just finished sorting my washi out today( I'm up to 91 washi rolls...😳! And there are still more coming in the post😵). But I have to seriously think about my stickers, paper and wax seal things🥴🤔. It's still a while before I can allow myself to buy an escritoire or bureau desk to put them in💸💸💸.

Today, you caught me procrastinating tasks and shopping again😅! To be fair, at least with the things I'm buying locally, a lot of stores are having big BIG sales at the moment. I think it's to help people start shopping again. Things are being sold at 40 to 60% off🤯🤪, and if I think about how food prices and petrol prices are going😓 then I decided it was the best time to get some of the items I've been looking at for a while.
Today, I bought ink from a local fountain pen store. It's a store that is a small family business, and they always send a handwritten note✒📃✉ thanking customers for their shopping. I feel better about buying there and helping the business stay around. And it was their midyear sale starting today😏. So I got a J.Herbin ink "Emeraude de Chivor", which I have been wanting for a while🤩.
I think with stationery buying, especially washi and stickers, I have been buying a lot because there were delays because of the shipping crisis causing a huge backlog in our customs process. So then I wouldn't see what I bought for a long time, so it felt like I didn't buy it😶. It was like if you buy sweets or desserts- those disappear quickly🤔, so did they really exist in the first place, haha😅😅😅? But I decided to buy less stationery for a while, because I almost bought the same thing twice from 2 different stores on Aliexpress🤦🏽♀️. Thankfully, the parcel I had already bought arrived, and I saw that I had put the same items in my cart again🙃🤑.
I was procrastinating setting up my devices this morning, but I decided to do it this evening. I chose to do gardening instead. It was so tiring😰 and I had to shower immediately afterwards because of how full of mud my clothes were. I had to divide and move some plants that have to have that maintenance in winter.
I also watched a UA-cam video on how to attach the type of legs I bought for my nightstand. Surprisingly, there is only one good video for this specific type of leg attachment and it was made 11 years ago😶🙃🤯😬!!!!!!!! I think my luck is that I like difficult things without knowing that they are difficult first. I'm worried about attaching them and I'm thinking that I might ask my uncle who does woodwork as a hobby to do it for me if it gets too difficult. I've painted small furniture items, and they've lasted well, so I'm not so worried about that🤷🏽♀️.
As for roses, I think that I'm quite lucky because roses grow well in my province. If you kill a rose bush here🥀, then you must be doing a lot of things wrong🤨. We even have some rose farms that supply plants for most of the country. We have soil that roses like which drains well, and lots of bright sunlight🌞. I noticed that in my family's home province, it's difficult to grow roses so they grow up beautifully. They get a lot of rain🌤🌦🌥 and the soil holds a lot of water💧.
Luckily, if you know how to prune roses, which is actually very easy if you follow the instructions of the old man👴🏼 who is the founder of the big rose farm here, and you plant your rose in a sunny place and give it enough water, it will do well. Every now and again you have to spray for bugs or problems, but at the rose farm🌹 they give you a catalogue book📖 when you visit and in there they offer a lot if advice and give you schedules for when you must do all your maintenance tasks. I'm using the pictures from last year's catalogue in my journaling😊.
