I have learned my lesson on leaving them in the trap to long.Couldnt help it as work and weather got in the way. Got em transferred into a hive and they are happy now. Thanks for posting Joe!
Had a dream about catching swarms this morning. I have a few hives that need to graduate to bigger boxes but I've had diverticulitis for 2 weeks and haven't been able to do much. Good video and you transferred them soon enough that you didn't have to cut comb off the bottom.
Hard to say if that was one swarm or two. I think I'm going to have to concede to the champ. I caught number 13 today. I think you were at that number when I caught my first!
I had two swarms land in the same cedar tree 6 day’s apart They were not mine , There was a swarm trap within twenty feet of the , tree they landed in. I had been seeing activity at another trap 75 ‘ from that tree . I was watching the trap in anticipation of a swarm for about an hour because there wet a lot of bees going in and out of the trap. I walked down to my apiary to check two other traps ,but no bee activity at the traps. As I passed by the cedar tree it was like a voice in my head said Look in that cedar tree . I looked at it and there was a swarm. I knew the swarm must be close judging by the number of bees at the trap. It’s hard to figure them out sometimes.

I still have three in traps and they are still in the trees. Same here, I just can't find the time to bring them home and transfer them.
Love your videos Joey, especially swarm catching.
Thank you.

So far I have 16 counting 3 that are still. hanging on the trees. I took all my empty traps down.
At 21:21 the queen is on the far side of box near the middle. Very dark queen. You can watch the bees to find her.
I still haven’t seen her.😂
Love the introduction!!! Nice swarm! Thanks Joey!!!
Thank you.

Yeah you never know what they are going to do.
Great video...what is that powder you put on those frames and what does it do?
It is Super DMF. It is a probiotic. Here is a linkwww.strongmicrobials.com/honeybee
How many does that make now Joey?
Im not sure which number this one is but I've caught 16 so far, counting 3 that are still hanging on the trees. I took all the empty ones down.
Är det inte bättre att flytta svärm lådan och skifta till 10 ramar låda där lådan sedan ska stå? Varma hälsningar från Sweden
I'm not sure what you are asking. They were in this swarm trap three days before moving them.
