Just went and toured this place and seeing the cars that fell in that sinkhole was a sad sight especially the ones that were totally destroyed. Mother Nature isnt anything to mess around with. Awesome showcase they have now with those cars though
This is some stellar, amazing work, so great to see the amount of effort and dedication put into saving and restoring the cars that you have. But what happened to the 1993 Ruby Red 40th anniversary Corvette? I remember it looked like one of the more better off vehicles to be lifted out from the hole, I'm surprised it wasn't amongst the ones that it was decided would be restored. Cheers from Canada!
This is late, but I just found out a nice old lady donated her ruby red 40th anniversary vette so no they have 2 and possibly are just using hers as the display
It was painted in a paint shop by a professional and no, there are no imperfections swirls in the paint. We invite you to come see it up close for yourself.
You known this is a museum with a big budget, right? And even tho if it got imperfaction ( whic there are no impoerfections ) it is still better than a badly damaged sad corvette.
This was so satisfying to watch the restoration process.
It is so satisfying that this C1 Corvette that fell in was rescued.
Beautifully edited. And those craftsmen? Astounding.
Fantastic job editing the video and restoring the car!

SPECTACULAR
Why was the car not painted and detailed by a paint shop? You can see the imperfections and swirls in the paint.

Let us just thank the "Good Lord" for imperfections and swirls.
What is the music?
The Corvette of Theseus...
at least the 62 is ok
Would be interesting to hear the entire 911 recording
I think she starts speaking in tongues and thanking "The Good Lord" later in the 911 call.
