In this clip, Melvin Farmer discussed how his third strike was reversed in California. Melvin said that immediately following his release from prison, he debated the author of the three-strikes rule about the efficacy of the statute.
Later, Melvin talked about his more recent run-in with the law dating back to 2010. He explained how he was hustling in Georgia and the eventual encounter with police that led to him currently being on parole.

I don’t think Vlad cares why he was on parole. Most interviewers are trying to get people talking. It’s a jumping off point to get Melvin talking because we are here to listen to Melvin speak about the most eventful portions of his life.
