I love my MM720, it feels like a Razer Naga that doesn't weigh a ton and has better side button placement. I have wide hands and I had so much trouble finding a mouse that I could use without getting cramping across the width of my palm and soreness across the back of my knuckles. Adjusting my grip to this mouse took about a week of light use but now that I'm used to it, I've just ordered another for use at work.
Awesome! I am glad it works so well for you. Its nice to see a unique shape instead of the cookie cutter Medium AMBI mouse everyone seems to be doing.
Contrary to your advice in the video, I think this mouse is great for fingertip. I use it with said grip with larger 21/11 hands. This shape works for more hand sizes than a safe ambi shape IMO. The fact that I can use this with big hands, but not the MM711, is proof of that I think. We're really brainwashed by channels like Rocket Jump Ninja to think that there's only one shape type that works. I've got competitive experience and am generally a top 2-5% aimer based on aim trainers and games like Apex, and my aim is great with this. So yeah, I don't think it's fair to say that this is worse for good aim just because of a different shape.
such a nice and detailed review and you got yourself a sub, i think this mouse is great overall with good price.
Been binging your videos for a while and I must say I hope your channel blows up! Great review btw
Nice review man. Really appreciate the comparison to the Roccat Burst Pro opticals. I should have my MM720 coming in this week and was worried about the opticals not feeling too good. Watching a lot of reviews and the Burst Pro clicks sound pretty bad, lol. The MM720 clicks sounded quite nice here, hopefully they feel good too!
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I was not impressed with the Burst Pros clicks but I did love its shape.
I'd say don't use the included grips, but keep them and use them as a stencil for some DIY grips like the pulsar supergrips. the supergrip makes the mouse feel extremely grippy, especially since you can cut out a square for the ring finger which isn't even included in the official grips.
with the super-grips it's quite possibly the most comfortable mouse I've ever used.
the stock grips always felt slippery, and bare naked matte turns shiny, and the shiny is kinda tacky on your fingertips, but not my palm.
also if you're looking for a real deal, you can get the glossy white model for $14.
that's literally "backup mouse/ impulse mouse purchase price.
for the price you quite literally have no competition that's any better.
More Mice! haha seems like every company is releasing a new mouse
I personally don’t like honey comb mice, it’s been overly glorified to the point that a Chinese company made a mouse that weighs 100g with a honey comb design.
Lol I guess its literally just for the aesthetic at that point. I don't like the feel of it on my hand although this mouse in specific does a great job of making it minimal enough to where I don't even realize its honeycomb as far as the feel goes. Yeah the whole honeycomb aesthetic really has blown up to the point where it can be ridiculous especially when its not even being used as a way to reduce the weight.
The shape looks like it would be very great to hold but maybe not for hours on end since it might force your hand into that position
Just ordered this. I think this is going to be perfect for me. I had my G502 Proteus Spectrum for almost 4-5 years now and even though I got used to it my pinky and ring finger always felt off since they always rubbed on another due to my grip(hybrid claw/palm). I always wanted a mouse that would have a rest for my ring finger and would separate my pinky from it and I think I'v found it.
@@MWKRider Is the MM720 still doing it, for you? I too have a G502, and I too feel like it's weird and starting to make my hand sore. On instinct, a mouse with a ring finger rest seems like it could be really comfortable. I like making music, so I kinda need my hands in good order :D
Me again :D Are you filming in ur kitchen ? Or is that a fake back ground :D
My main question was what mouse would you suggest and keyboard for 2020/2021
I don't have any studio space so I film in my kitchen, but it works haha. It is really hard to give a recommendation without knowing what size, grip style, shape, price point, etc.
@@CalebThornton I see :) i also wanted to make videos like you but dont got any fancy space for it..i live in a small flat..maybe in the bathroom it would work haha and i could call the channel crapman rewievs :) Also i would vomit from nervous break down trying to make videos :p I think i choose the corsair k100 and roccat burst pro since i have spend a whole week reseaching.
@@Psycrovv lol its definitely a learning curve with recording and talking to camera. Definitely a big difference from my first video to now being on my 50th. Nice choices! Its always good to do lots of research like you did beforehand I'm sure you will be happy with those products.
@@CalebThornton Can i ask you what camera are you recording with today ? I have this logitech 910 i think it is 1080p webcam..its outdated
@@Psycrovv The camera I am using the Canon EOS M6 mark ii not really meant to be used as a webcam more for Video and photography. Although you could use it for a webcam just would be a expensive webcam haha
I just got my MM720 but the software doesn't work. The mouse is not recognized. Also when I check on their website, the mouse is not listed in the supported products for MasterPlus. How did you get it to work?
Found the solution. You need to download it from here, it's a different version.

@@Testikulus still not working for me..it wont install the firmware at all.
So just got this mouse today but want to know exactly how do I open the configuration software?
BEST COMPARISON: SteelSeries Aerox 3 wired vs Hyperx Haste
I actually have that video planned! haha Just waiting to get the wired aerox and test and review it then should have that video out in not to long 👍
What are the mouse feet called!!
Does it have on board dpi storage?
Does it feel a bit awkward to 1-3-1 grip this mouse(middle finger on wheel ringer on right click pinky on the side rest)?
I'm definitely not a good person to ask just because I don't ever use that grip style so it feels weird to me. I can do it but it does seem like it might be better to have a less wide mouse for that grip style then again I don't ever use this grip so not sure. Hopefully someone else can help you more with this question.
The firmware is not installing at all.
Nice. Left? No.
So like a Naga?
It's definitely going to feel a lot different than the Naga shape wise and weight. But you still might like it for a more lightweight gaming option.
YOOO HIGH QUALITY VID FROM SMALLER REVIEWER I LOVE IT
Thank you!
