I love the Super Articulation 2 clarinet sound on the Tyros 3 and the saxophones are also a slight improvement over Tyros 2's saxophones. I'm seriously considering buying a Tyros keyboard at some point after Christmas. Although the Tyros 2 is still a good keyboard I think with Tyros 3 Yamaha really started to make some improvements especially to the drum kits. But as far as I know Tyros 3 does also have T1 and T2 sounds as part of it's Legacy collection.
The accent is because the pro and semi pro arranger keyboard market is strongest in Europe and Asia. The United States makes up for a VERY small percentage of pro and semi pro arranger sales. Also take into consideration that Yamaha is a Japanese company and this is Yamaha's UA-cam Channel. So as expected, you'll find reps native to the region. Yamaha UK also does a lot of Yamaha's videos for arrangers too, again as the arranger is much more popular in Europe and Asia.
This certainly IS a workstation! These boards aren't as popular in the USA as they are in Europe. This is a "Professional Arranger Workstation". It has synth editing, 16 trk seq, REAL synth keybed, color display, ability to load in samples, software editor, the list goes on. This keyboard is not a TOY by any means. Many don't realize it, but a chunk of those good sounding acoustic voices on Yamaha's pro synths came from their arranger keyboard line. Not cheap too, cost is just under $4,000!
Yes, I thought so too. And as for drums: there are many different types that you can use to create youre own styles, for example "live" drums. This was just a sample of an 80's Synthrock rhytm.
i am wandering how much they cost because i heard u need to buy special speakers as well for this keyboard./..? since we dont have an shop nearby to take a look.
It´s quite amazing: The Tyros 1 was already great, but the Tyros 2 got even better! I thought, no Keyboard can be better than the T2. But the Tyros 3 is much much better than the T2!!!! I can´t think, how the 4th version of the Workstation will beat the T3. Greetings from Germany, Dan
@mrteemumilto peace to you too. However you cannot play a piano without the sustain pedal, so it is not separate! The pedal on an electronic piano only sustains the note you are playing, whereas on a real piano it opens all the strings.
@MrJackanthony I'm not really sure about budget, obviiously not too expensive but it depends how much my current keyboard can sell for, I can also save up for a new one. I'm taking piano lessons so i think a 72 key would be necessary as 86 key wouldn't fit in my room, weighted, semi-weighted or graded keys are also a must. I've looked on Yamaha's site and found a few good keyboards from the piaggero series I think are called the NPV80 & NPV60 and also the DGX 530 look good too. Thanks
KingArthur8 . . . I don't know guy . . . but I think she did a great job. I could understand her very well. And I really envy her talent. And Yamaha really has winners with both the TYROS 2 and 3.
I still have my Yamaha PSR-420 and thought it's time to save up for a new keyboard, but they've all changed a lot now so I'm finding it difficult to know what features I want/need.
@bestrickie2 TYROS 4 costs 3699€ in Germany. And the Voice you mean is called "Irish pipe Air", even in 3:30 it sounds so realistic!!! T4 is again a very very good one, if you think of getting one, you won´t regret it!!!!
Amazing realistic sounds. But I didn't realize one thing though. Is it solely a performance keyboard, or an arranger workstation ? Does it contain features like step sequencing, track recording, vocoding, note quantization and mixing ? (I mean the stuff required for arranging, composition). I am planning to buy an arranger workstation, and my preferences are yamaha motif series, tyros, and Roland fantom G series. Can anyone give any suggestion ?
Guys I buy this keyboard several days ago and it's AMAZING!!! I'M NOT JOKING!!! Whoever have the Tyros3 knows!!! The quality of the sound is ................!!! I don't know how to tell it! xD Sorry about my english! I hope to understand what I write! xD
Hey nice 1 I love the celtic sound to the right hand instrument on intro of the intro tune. You know your stuff. I'd love a T3. How much is it now the T4 is out? I bet T4 is at least 3 grand. Cheers from Rich
I also like Bert Smorenberg, but its not a performance video, but a demonstration video. And this girl does an excellent job in presenting this top keyboard. I wish I had the money !! (But I enjoy my PSR3000 too). = oh, and if you don't know, add &fmt=18 after the basic URL to hear it in stereo =
@CYNCY24 The PSR S900 doesn´t have sliders and no Super Articulation!2 Voices, and you can play with only 2 instead of 3 Voices for the Right Hand! But it has many features from the Tyros 3, like score-displaying, Vocal Harmonizer, Super Articulation!1 Voices. My tip: Get a PSR S910, it has more Styles coming from the Tyros3, like the Style Schlager Fox for example. AND: The S910 is a small Tyros 3!
hola. quiero saber como puedo escuchar la musica que tengo en mi USB con el tyros 3. es q solo m da la opcion de reproducir los ritmos programados pero no llego a escuchar la musica.
@coglione11 I totally agree with you! My GF playes Bagpipe, and she sometimes doesn´t realize, that the Sound comes out of a Keyboard, so realistic!!!!
@mrteemumilto I don't agree. Weighted keys are an unnecessary addition to an electronic instrument, and their only finction is to help you play if you are only able to play with the resitance of a real instrument. Once you learn to play unweighted keys you can play faster. The only disadvantage of unweighted keys is you have to be much more accurate. You might as well say that it would be better with a huge wooden box behind it like a real piano.
@Xuellon TYROS wird immer das Hammerteil sein, auch die 4. oder 5?. Version wird DAS Topmodell sein! Gerade die SA Technologie mach das TYROS wunderbar!
What's better motif xs fanton g or tyros 3 ... tough question I know once they ca be used to different situations... but what would be the best?! anybody knows/!? I have an xs a fantom g and had a korg m3 didn't like the m3 at all besides looking cool :)
@mrteemumilto Yes, 19th century music may be easier, but not baroque: a clavichord is actually a very light action. And I had to play the blues on a Beckstein last year (the heaviest action you can get) and my fingernails were all broken and there was blood all over the client's piano at the end of the night! IMHO Yamaha Clavinovas (the alternative) have a horrible clunky action that is nothing like say a Steinway or even a real Yamaha baby Grand, both of which are a joy to play any music on.
No it does not compare to the Korg OASYS. That Korg is a multi synthesizer and workstation. The Tyros line presents itself mostly as performance workstation/arranger keyboard- for example, it cannot sample or do any indepth synthesis programming, its just a super keyboard [a powerful rompler].
Wow, some really harsh remarks from viewers of this video. Yes a real piano sound great in comparison but try sticking one under your arm and taking it to your local pub for a gig. This was a very adequate demo and refering to wrist and finger actions as one reviewer stated... I can only imaging the kind of exercise they give their wrist and fingers. credit where its due. Nice demonstration
Magic!!! Tyros models are GREAT. Tyros 3, good enuf for an amateur like me. :) God bless yamaha for making such models.
I Love this keyboard ... the articulations are great and she really can play!!
this is the best demonstration I have seen for tyros3
thank you Mina Nakagawa :)
What did music play at the beginning?
I know...there's a 4 and a 5 out there, but I love my T3. :-)
Same

Man this is the most realistic guitar voice of a synthesizer I've ever heard.
Georgi Dimitrov I
THE CUITAR VOICE at 4:42 is amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing
I love this so much too!!! Is she playing famous songs? She plays very well!
i saw this keyboard in the dawsons store in manchester yesterday absolutley brilliant

omg this is SO going on my xmas list.
WoW, the Big band sound blew me away !
Excellent,great mina
I think I'm in love... with the piano that is :)
whats the sound in the modern big band? sound awesome
Great demo!
i am wandering how much they cost because i heard u need to buy special speakers as well for this keyboard./..?

Bravissima Mina!

What do you think of the Genos now? 😏
@zilvergrafix Sounds pretty good to me. What would you recommend in its place?
the best... perfect song .....

@WolchowsFilmschmiede yeah man. i've been working on a Tyros 1 for years and its still awesome. not outdated or anything
Excellent, a wonderful keyboard, its voices are fantastic. I know this this keyboard can do much more, so this Tyros 3 is much better.
KingArthur8 . . . I don't know guy . . . but I think she did a great job. I could understand her very well. And I really envy her talent.
And Yamaha really has winners with both the TYROS 2 and 3.
this is the keyboard of my dreams.
Me Too!
이 악기 어떻게 사나요
I still have my Yamaha PSR-420 and thought it's time to save up for a new keyboard, but they've all changed a lot now so I'm finding it difficult to know what features I want/need.
Acacia Bottoms? Anil Thomas, thank you for advising about the captions.
Can somebody say to me if is it a famous song which she plays at 8:00 please? Thanks.
@bestrickie2 TYROS 4 costs 3699€ in Germany. And the Voice you mean is called "Irish pipe Air", even in 3:30 it sounds so realistic!!!
T4 is again a very very good one, if you think of getting one, you won´t regret it!!!!
the uilean pipe is very rare to find on any synth and it's sound just awesome like some on East West Ethnic vst plug-in.
Amazing realistic sounds. But I didn't realize one thing though. Is it solely a performance keyboard, or an arranger workstation ? Does it contain features like step sequencing, track recording, vocoding, note quantization and mixing ? (I mean the stuff required for arranging, composition).

ottima dimostrazione, mi ha convinto a comprare una Yamaha Tyros 4 , grazie
@WolchowsFilmschmiede You are right but is not a workstation this keyboards are called Arrangers.
has some sweet hamonica, and saxophone
The acoustic guitars, saxophones and drums use the same samples as those
sounds in Halion/Halion Sonic.
Guys I buy this keyboard several days ago and it's AMAZING!!! I'M NOT JOKING!!! Whoever have the Tyros3 knows!!!
The quality of the sound is ................!!! I don't know how to tell it! xD

Super Articulation 2: IrishPipesAir
i want to now if i can make my own styles or new styles in this keyboard....thanks
YAMAHA builds the best consumer keyboards i think. i own only a PSR S500 but it´s sound really good. The Tyros is my wish for the next time ;-)
Hello does any one have the sheet music for the first peice played?
at 10:45 did she say DZ rather than a DJ?

Gotta love that Uilleann Pipes emulator!
@johnniemoonwalker so true, i love both keyboards even though I only have the XS , both are amazing.
that's a perfect, amazing, incredible keyboard, but it's so expensive here in brazil, realistic sounds!
Hi when I'm playing the piano when I put the style down. Please help. I'm sorry for the writing, but I'm Portuguese.
Não consegui compreender? Qual o problema na realidade?
@coglione11 I totally agree with you! My GF playes Bagpipe, and she sometimes doesn´t realize, that the Sound comes out of a Keyboard, so realistic!!!!
great keyboard! I wish I could play like her
what is the name of the song on this time?

Around 6:00, anyone else thinking "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel? I want this keyboard but can the drums be improved?

michel voncken is german (this i think) , i never have seen someone shown a tyros who speaks english as mother-language
how much would one of these cost in aussie dollars anyone know?
@Xuellon TYROS wird immer das Hammerteil sein, auch die 4. oder 5?. Version wird DAS Topmodell sein! Gerade die SA Technologie mach das TYROS wunderbar!
Fortunately, pop music is so simple now that you CAN do a convincing imitation of a whole band using just two fingers. :?D
how much?
2:25 porn music!
this keyborad is bangin
I gotta get me one of these!!!!!!
Got tyros 3 very exicited
@WolchowsFilmschmiede The Tyros 4 is here!! Check out on yamaha page or here in youtube.

@samuelq1 It's a keyboard!
not a piano
Can a yamaha company exchange tyros with my yamaha psr 3000
on 7:40 i imagined the Harry Potter Theme :D would fit in there perfectly :P
I think this Tyros 3 is even more expensive than the MOTIF XS 7!
Troppo bella !
