I feel they were overly harsh on him BECAUSE he is a good looking kid. It’s like they had to cut him down even tho he did nothing to portray he was an ego case. He had to be overly humble, when he was never overly ego filled to begin with. I find it really telling about human behavior. Like when people earn awards, by the 3rd award, people stop clapping..due to jealousy or perceived ego, that may not even exist. 😒Humans are crappy to each other for no reason. He backed out of the first show because of a family emergency, not due to thinking he was too good for the show 🙄🙄

It’s something people do and they don’t even realize it. They see something in someone that they feel they are lacking OR that they feel makes that person BELIEVE they are better than you. And so they have to cut it down. They have to. It’s really amazing. From what I saw on another thing about this is that he had a family death and that’s why he dropped out.
Nick true personality is always misconstrued by people 'cause of his looks and the way he carries himself especially when he is on stage. The confidence he has is very much needed in pursuing his dreams. Give him a chance to share his talent. 🙏

He changed his attitude.. I adore people whom accept their flaws and puts efforts to possibly change them.💙 And his singing is good. I feel like most judgmental comments are due to his first attitude as we want to make the arrogant one feels down.

I saw someone comment on something that what happened is a family member died and he got in an accident and that’s why he dropped out. I didn’t watch the show he was on or anything but figured I would add this comment to it about maybe why he dropped out last time.

I suspect this particular backstory was carefully crafted. The whole "goes in cocky and gets humbled by the process" gimmick gives the producers a reason to put the cute kid through, when several more worthy vocalists get left out.

He's a pretty good singer but it's not enough, shows like this are littered with "Pretty Good Singers" you need to have something extra & I don't mean looks, It's just something in your Aura, your attitude & the way you connect with people, that's what set's you apart from the rest. Lionel Ritchie is the epitome of that, which is why he is such an Icon.

Everyone hates on him so hard cuz of how they spliced together his audition vid 😂 no he's not the best vocalist in this competition but imo he's better looking, a better vocalist, and a less entitled person than justin bieber and we all know how that turned out 🤷
Not my favorite… But then again I don't really like that particular style of music or singing and he definitely has the looks and they probably have taken him a long way on his journey, but there were a couple of people who I really wanted to see in here that they passed over because of him and I just don't get it

@@adisaakomolede3039 Laine Hardy is a good singer, but hes not more talented than Alejandro Aranda. I think Laine is a great Elvis impersonator, he looks like Elvis, and sings great, he's just not as good as Alejandro. Overall, Scary Pool Party is MUCH more talented, dude can play the piano, the guitar, and can dj too, not too mention he can SING.
Wow so he made it through his first audition and didn’t follow through then auditioned again and made it through again and yet i audition once with great vocals and gets rejected 🤦🏽♂️

Something really triggers me to say this to L. Richie. When you judge someone be objective not emotionally subjective 'n negative. As for Nick he needed to be humbled and he passed even by someone who has too high opinion of himself. Life is filled with boomerangs, and I have feeling Richie yours is going to hit you very hard.
