Welcome to the Cast Metyll UA-cam Channel.
With UA-cam constantly changing rules regarding fair usage, A.I and other policies, we are proud to be more natural and raw than edited video's loaded with tricks.
1] Featuring: Redline Reviews. The positive talk only, metal-exclusive album review segment exclusive to Metyll Magazine. Mom always said that if you have nothing nice to say, then zip it!
"Sure, I review one album at a time in around seven minutes(often times less,) but you actually walk away with a total of FOUR metal album recommendations with every show, plus you get a quick, concise description of the album. Not too shabby."
Our mission is to bring the metal music fan community the latest news, music reviews, facts, stats, data, tour information each week in a no-hold's-barred talk show with your host, Terry, who quite possibly is the biggest metal-a-holic alive.
Expect everything metal.
We are diverse. We love the music we love, without apology. Every core, every sub-genre and every category of metal music holds merit here. We respect all Metal music acts regardless of whether or not we listen to them. They all have their fans regardless.
Metal music through history: From it's vintage roots from the 60's to the 80's with Black Sabbath & Budgie to the Judas Priest-Iron Maiden Heavy Metal progressions during the 70's to the locomotive power of Black/Thrash Metal in the early 80's, the metal music genre is arguably has a near, or more than 60 year history now.
Metal music today is "beautiful becoming," and growing stronger in our opinion. At Cast Metyll, Terry, although diverse in his music tastes, has a special affliction towards extreme metal music. "To me, I look forward to every new album released as much as I enjoy my own favourite play lists. I love metal music. Why else would I create all of this."
The Cast Metyll Talk Show: All data, reviews, facts and positive information without drama or gossip. This is going to get interesting.

This album is absolutely kick ass. It's the musical equivalent of a hurricane made of burning tires and fresh asphalt with a little sweat mixed in. CRUSHING!!! AS PER NORMAL.
We think so, too. Thanks for your input. Cheers 🍻 😎
This "next big thing" have a large following of loyal fans, been around for roughly 25 years with 9 albums out, plus a Grammy win. I think they're already as big as they're going to get.
Awesome point of view. Thanks for reaching out. Cheers 🍻
High on Fire have been one of my favourite bands for the last few years, never made a bad album. Massively influenced by Black Sabbath, Motörhead and Thin Lizzy (check out their cover of Vagabonds of the western world 👌)
Going to see them for the 2nd time in London June 14th.
The singer/Guitarist is also the lead guitar player in the cult band Sleep.
One of their best songs, imo, is a track called King Of Days.
You struck gold finding this band, dude 🔥🔥🔥
Edit: Also, just subscribed 👍🏻
This album is sooo good, that I wonder where it will take them in the next year or two. I’m new to High on Fire and am enjoying the journey down the rabbit hole.
Thank you for reaching out and subscribing. I appreciate it. 🔥
I’ll be back reviewing music again in a day or two. I have laryngitis and can’t talk well.
I always thought of HOF as Sabbath meets Motorhead. Heavy AF.
These guys are practicly gods of the Doom genre. Enjoy the ride Terry!
Great description. I feel this is the album that will bring them their biggest success. Thanks for reaching out.
Just stream High On Fire and hear for yourself. Cheers 🍻 and enjoy your Saturday. 🔥🔥😎
HOF had awesome albums before and are still running under the radar. there are lots of awesome bands who are just not meant to be as famous as their fans want them to be.
Sad. Thanks for your comment. Cheers 🍻
@@CastMetyll i feel ambiguous about it since too often the type of music which "is the actual big thing" sounds not exactly the way how i would describe it. mainstream success is often a hint for absolute garbage. so i prefer to just be most exited about the fact how music makes me feel and not how it sells ;)
@@metalhosTime will tell I suppose. The album just came out on Friday in Apple Music. Thanks again for dropping in. 🙏
You have to listen to Sleep, The science.
I’ll put it on the list. Thanks 🙏
I think the host is a bit late to the High on Fire juggernaut. This is their first album with a new drummer. All of the previous HoF albums had a drummer named Des Kensel. The new drummer (who's been around for years) fits in so well. Matt Pike the bands leader is a riff god. Do yourself a favor and delve into their discography and start from the beginning. They are ALL bangers even though some of the band lineup's are different on some of the albums. Death is this Communion is one of their best and in 2019 they won a hgrammy for the albuim Electric Messiah.
I did dive right in. Literally the day after. So phenomenal. Where have I been 🤷♂️ Thanks for reaching out. Cheers 🍻
@@CastMetyll Awesome!
Sleep is better.
You are late. HOF is old band.
Man.... I discovered this band a month ago and I gotta say.... For as long as they've been around, I'm betrayed by friends who failed to mention them. This music bakes my veins through my skin.
Thank you for commenting. I have a feeling they may break through big. Incredible vocals with deep, powerful music underneath. It gave me the shivers. Very unique. Cheers 🍻
@@CastMetyllobviously you haven't been paying attention I'm afraid
Move over metallica
😂 Next Big one ? They won a Grammy finally in 2018 and have been huge for 20 years , where have you been? 😂
