thank you rjschrei. yes you can do a lot with little. i always notice when I work with a small case that I work with the modules much more intensively, discover new things and thereby become more creative.
Hey there Elinch. Came across one of your videos several weeks ago and have been watching/listening to the rest of them when I have time. I think this one, as with all the others, is really nice! (If you ever end up releasing more of them as audio on bandcamp that would be a bonus - I have some strong favourites that I would gladly throw money at you for ;-) Anyway, regardless of that, I'm really enjoying your videos. Thank you!)
thanks r beny. yes, the multisample function also appealed to me, especially with the great piano sound. but for me the most interesting thing is sequencing with the chord function in combination with the arpeggiator. with a 2 disting as a looper you can build infinite loop landscapes very spontaneously.
definitely sounds cool and magical. creates wonderful soundscapes to drift away ;) not too familiar with ES ex, might need to look into it for my rack. keep up
This is just beautiful! Wonderful, ambient textures... so with the exception of the additional sounds noted, the sound source for all of the previously recorded loops was the distingEX?
thanks martin, i also pushed the modules back and forth for a long time, exchanged them. until everything fit. because the case is so small, i unfortunately had to release 2 hp, otherwise the whole case would get too warm after an hour.
first of all lovely performance as always. a quick question: what is the deal with contour going in ch. 1 into the disting?? isn't the ch. 1 not the input where you recotd the stuff on the looper algo??
@@elinch i see. i was so sure thats contur. man i love the way you make music. Also du bist echt eine grosse Insperation füe einen neuling wie mich. 1000 dank dafür, mein lieber!
Really appreciate seeing what can be done with a small case. It’s encouraging to those of us that can never afford a larger setup.

that is a big little case. lots of options inside, i love that.very airy. those pads are sick. super dope track
thank you!!!
I agree
Great🌟✨✌️ love it
🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely sublime
Love your work at each time. Thank you for sharing 💓
Great as always, i’d like to see and hear another “for the world” kind of work...but everything from you is excellent and inspiring...

many thanks, ethan. maybe a new tape will come this year. i can't promise anything yet.
@@elinch Sure. Either way, great stuff :-D
Excellent sounds master Elinch. Cheers and greetings from Bergen - Norway
thank you jorn (sorry i don’t find your o) and many greetings back.
@@elinch You are most welcome, and many thanks!
double disting ex, whoa! lovely piece. really interested in the disting ex for the multi-sample capability.

Oh yes super lovely !
Lovely as always :)
thank you so much, dan
What a trip... I love to rhythms
thank you omri!
There’s a beautiful 158 on Top left😉
That was great

thank you, joshua. the drums are the tokyo tape music osc. the vocal is from my ipad. all other sounds come from the disting ex.
So as far as the drums, are you quantizing the pitch and I assume feeding it ransoms voltages ?
I pitched the drums by hand during the loop.
Gorgeous patch! Does the EX looper have sound on sound recording and feedback controls?
thank you. sound on sound: yes. feedback control: i think yes.
All quite pretty! That’s a mind-boggling number of routing options in a small box. I count nine loopers to two oscillators?
thanks martin, i also pushed the modules back and forth for a long time, exchanged them. until everything fit. because the case is so small, i unfortunately had to release 2 hp, otherwise the whole case would get too warm after an hour.
@@elinch Makes sense. That’s a lot of little computers running in there, and the ones in the EX are relatively beefy.
When are they gonna start building liquid cooled cases
This might be my favorite one yet! The is the TTM the triangle/sin or the square?
thank you daniel. model 158 triangle/saw
Elinch np, listening to your work is my pleasure! how is that compared to two STO's? I figured it'd be similar in some respects
its a more rough and direct sound
Please, share a list of modules :)

Thank you🙏🙏🙏 Its not the Contour, its the Optomix with rhe signal from the TTMC Osc.
@@elinch i see. i was so sure thats contur.

Amazing stuff. So, basically it's like a small computer.
