Ummm yes, back when every attack has its own weight and IMPACT in a SRW game...I miss those days.

I honestly don't get how the quality of the actual animations seems to overall have decreased in V, X, T, and 30th. I think the problem is basically that so many of the animations now are just anime style cut-ins rather than animating actual sprites. I'd go back to the old days in a second. The OG games keep getting better and better looking at least.

@@tonberrykid02 If I remember correctly, the massive downgrade in animation quality started with Z3. And its jump to HD Graphics, that jump just was not worth it in the end.

@@tonberrykid02 OG has more budget to work with and SRW from V onwards started taking more animation inspiration from the anime shows.
To be honest, they have improved majorly from Z3 anyway, L-Gaim looks freaking fantastic

The problem are the new animators. They simply aren't as good as the old one outside of Arios-kun, and as great as his animations are, sometimes they don't feel as "weighty" as they should.
