SuperSneakySniper Hmh, yes, except Sako was bankcrupted and sold to beretta in the early 90s. Sako burnt a lot of money when they designed a new assault rifle for the finnish military. Then soviet union collapsed and the new gun wasn't necessary anymore. Suddendly we could buy old AK74s and norincos for 1/10th of the price of a Sako RK-95. Sako found out that they couldn't sell their very accurate, but expensive gun to anyone and went bust. Finland bought some 500 000 Norincos from china and lots of other AK variants from former DDR military yard sale (usually they supplied a container full of them with every tank and we bought some 100 T-72s)

looks more like the shooter of the Remington 700 didn't bring the bolt back far enough, the result being the bullet didn't get loaded into the chamber. that's operator error, not a rifle error.
+John Gordon Yeah, I see now that there was no cartridge in the chamber to begin with. User error is a good possibility. Though it is still possible that the bolt/mag failed to strip off into the chambered, which is also a problem experienced by some rifles. I ain't bashing on Remington 700's though, they're good, I just expected to see more higher-end brands.

It is simply hard to come across an unobstructed view between two given positions very far apart in typical Finnish terrain. I would expect it to add the ‘fogs of war’, at least in 1 mission. Do not be surprised if the failure rate of the competitors is 99%, in that mission.
I fell in love with Finland and Scandinavia through the great music produced by your countries and through Finnish hockey players, but Finland always had something that drew me to it. A fantastic Army and you can't think about the size of an Army it's the soldiers and how good they actually are that count. For instance here in America we have a huge army and so does Russia, but in both cases they are too big and there is too much room for error and ill discipline and everything else bad. Russia have a shit government just like us and are bullies just like us, but what Russia doesn't have is stupid "Amendments." The way of how to wage a war has changed. Nowadays U don't need an enormous amount of men. What U need is special forces, that have a good equipment and good training. As the wars " changed" between the first and the second World war..."Blitzkrieg" and so on. A sniper team can be as effective as a company on the battlefield. If there is one. Strategic points have become more important than fighting somewhere in the forest.I could go on and on, but I guess that U know these things..does not really matter if U have served or not, the things are out on the open for everyone to see.As a sniper I have to blow my own horn a bit: The Legion usually sent us first to do recon, and ..well i have to shut my mouth at this point. I just wonder...Swedes and Danes ..well even Norwegians did nothing in WW2. Finns fought off both Soviets and Nazis, Finland was caught in the middle, and we were lucky to remain as a sovereign country. Enough said.

Ei nykyään ammuta millää saatans TGR-50 vaan alle 500 metriin kaikki,varmasti . Ei ole mitään aavikosotaa, kahteen kilometriin. Vaan kuinka tarkasti ammutaan ilman mitään, siis ilman mitään kiikärillä, mies ei pääse ilman suojaa alle 300 metriin. On se mukavaa. Plus onko näköjään parivaljakoin? Se ois hienoo. En tiedä näistä. Mut sen tiedän et kiväärin luoti on vaarallinen viiteen kilometriin. Mut 800 metriä on helppoa jo täällä.

Juu ei siihen tarkka-ammuntaan kiikaria vaadita. Onha PV:n käyttämässä tarkkuuskiväärissäkin (tkiv2000/sako trg42 2000) rautatähtäimet varalta... Ja Häyhän käyttämä "Pystykorva" on ihan tarpeeks hyvä sen aikaseks tarkkuuskivääriks. Kelpais jopa vieläkin. Jos 450m on etäisyys johon Häyhä tiedettävästi on osunu, ei voida puhua huonosta aseesta. Nykyäänhän tuolle matkalle osuu nollatuulella helposti, mutta on se silti kunnioitettava suoritus. (Ittellä täs vähä ennen loppusotaa 833 m pisin mihi oon päässy ampuun ja osuuki iha hyvin kunhan on laskut kohallaan (outo flex mut olkoon))
@@VtheWizard Hyvin kohdistetulla M 85:lla 1000m ja jantteri nurin VM-89. M85:seen sai myös kiikarin. Pystykorva avotähtäimillä toimi vielä +500m erinomaisesti. RK- 62 sama juttu kun käytössä oli diopteritähtäin. Silläkin osaa +500m-600m kunhan ei hätiköi ja käytä yö-jyvää piipun päässä.Muuten Puolustusvoimien mukaan Suomi on hankkimassa uusia kotimaisia tarkkuuskivääreitä. Ei nykyään ammuta millää saatans TGR-50 vaan alle 500 metriin kaikki,varmasti . Ei ole mitään aavikosotaa, kahteen kilometriin. Vaan kuinka tarkasti ammutaan ilman mitään, siis ilman mitään kiikärillä, mies ei pääse ilman suojaa alle 300 metriin. On se mukavaa. Plus onko näköjään parivaljakoin? Se ois hienoo. En tiedä näistä. Mut sen tiedän et kiväärin luoti on vaarallinen viiteen kilometriin. Mut 800 metriä on helppoa jo täällä.

Taisi olla hirvikärpäsiä tai vastaavia kun näyttivät aika isoilta. Tuli tuosta kuitenkin mieleen, että röllipuvun kaikki kangasosat olisi hyvä sumuttaa permetriinillä - ei häiritse kärpäset eikä ampiaiset sen jälkeen.

Tarkkuuskivääri jota Suomen armeija käyttää on 8,6 TKIV 2000. Kyseinen kivääri on Sakon valmistama TRG-42 tarkkuuskivääri joka käyttää kolmea eri kaliiperista ammusta. 8,6 x 70, 7,62 x 67 ja 7,62 x 51.

Aika moni nyt puhuu paljon Simo Häyhästä (englannissa kun ei ole ä tai ö niin Hayha) Häyhähän ei periaatteessa ollut tarkka-ampuja ,koska Häyhä käytti aseenaan OMAA KIVÄÄRIÄÄN jossa EI ollut kiikaritähtäintä vaan se perus metallinen tähtäin eli Häyhä oli perus jääkäri

Ja Häyhän käyttämä "Pystykorva" on ihan tarpeeks hyvä sen aikaseks tarkkuuskivääriks. Kelpais jopa vieläkin.
Jos 450m on etäisyys johon Häyhä tiedettävästi on osunu, ei voida puhua huonosta aseesta. Nykyäänhän tuolle matkalle osuu nollatuulella helposti, mutta on se silti kunnioitettava suoritus.
(Ittellä täs vähä ennen loppusotaa 833 m pisin mihi oon päässy ampuun ja osuuki iha hyvin kunhan on laskut kohallaan (outo flex mut olkoon))

@@VtheWizard Hyvin kohdistetulla M 85:lla 1000m ja jantteri nurin VM-89. M85:seen sai myös kiikarin. Pystykorva avotähtäimillä toimi vielä +500m erinomaisesti. RK- 62 sama juttu kun käytössä oli diopteritähtäin. Silläkin osaa +500m-600m kunhan ei hätiköi ja käytä yö-jyvää piipun päässä.Muuten Puolustusvoimien mukaan Suomi on hankkimassa uusia kotimaisia tarkkuuskivääreitä. Näillä uusilla aseilla korvataan kokonaan vanhat 1960-luvulla Neuvostoliitossa kehitetyt Dragunov-tarkkuuskiväärit. Lisäksi tarkoitus on korvata pääosin myös kotimainen 7.62 tarkkuuskivääri M85. Kiina pistelee läheisten merialueiden naapurit kyykkyyn rakentamalla lisäsaaria, paitsi Intian, Koreoiden Venäjän ja Japanin suuntaan.
Mutta jos sinulla on uskottava puolustus tai ydinaseet niin ei pistetäkään. Jenkit eivät uskalla Venäjälle eikä Pohjois-Koreaan. Kiina ei uskalla Japaniin eikä Venäjälle. Silloin lähinnä asetetaan pakotteita ja vinkutaan ihmisoikeuksista/merenalaisista mannerlaatoista tms.
Jos kannatat rauhaa, tue Suomen armeijaa. Se on paras rauhan tae tässä yhteiskunnassa, erityisesti sijaintimme huomioon ottaen. Ei Venäjä itärajalta lähde pois. Sillä on ihan yhtä lailla oikeus olla siellä kuin meillä täällä, ja se tulee olemaan suurvalta jolla suurvallan intressit ihan samalla tavalla kuin muillakin. Eikä ne Jenkitkään mitään parempia ole, katso vaikka miten Hawaiin ja Kuuban kävi. Ei ollut uskottavaa puolustusta Kuuballa, Jenkit nappasivat palan itselleen ja pitävät sitä edelleen hallussa. ***** En, mutta se olisi aika turhaa. Legioonassa toimittiin yleensä 4 ryhmässä: Spotter ja Sniper + suojausryhmä ( en ; Le Group d' securite) Muut käyttää samaa tekniikkaa. Esim. Sniper ja spotter keskittyvät kohteeseen, ns. suojausryhmä keskittyy mahdollisiin muihin uhkiin. Tällä tavoin muodostetaan 360 asteen suojaus. En sano enempää.

AWP nimistä asetta ei ole =Arctic Warfare police, mutta oikea nimi on AW, AWM Arctic Warfare Magnum. ja malleja on sitten erilaisia esim L115A3
TheValde tiedän juuri sitä meinasin. Itseni lempi Kivääreitä on luuri L115/AWM
Jos muistan oikein, niin L96 ja L115 ero on siinä kuinka paljon ammuksia mahtuu lippaaseen. Niin viisi mahtu L115:een ja kymmenen L96:een.
