From FUTURE TOP 10 QB PICK to UNDRAFTED (What Happened to Kedon Slovis?)

- At one time, Kedon Slovis was seen as a top 10 pick after his historic freshman season at USC, but after 2020 everything fell off for Slovis and he flamed out at USC, Pitt and BYU. Still though he was picked up by the Indianapolis Colts and now has a chance in the NFL. Today though, I want to talk about why his stock died and why his career did not go as planned, enjoy!
What player who's draft stock busted should I cover next? (Kalen King, Jeremiah Trotter and James Williams are guys I have on the list already)
Christian Mahogany. Bro shoulda went 2nd or early 3rd.
How about a guy like bubba starling? I used to love to watch and follow him. He passed on playing QB for the NB Cornhuskers, went to mlb draft but really never could break through to the majors and make an impact. Think he missed his calling in football. He also was a great 2 guard in basketball too.
TJ Tampa. Was projected to be picked early in day 2 and dropped to 4th round.
I don’t think Trotter falls into that category. He’s a middle linebacker at best already looking at second round, then barely 6’ and with 31in arms, that’s not a fall. He was looking at pics 110-180 from the beginning.
kalen King now that’s a different animal. That dude probably would’ve been a 2nd/3rd round draft pick if he did not play against Ohio State

I hate when people say, “if would’ve come out last year He would’ve been a top 5/10 or whatever. The reality of it is nobody knows where somebody’s gonna get drafted until they start breaking that player down.
2019 was his best college season. Which not so coincidentally was also Amon Ra St. Brown’s best season in college.
I always wondered what happened to this guy. Remember channel surfing, and came across one of his games at Pitt. Assumed Pitt had got something (kid coming from USC). Was like, “yikes”! 😳😳😳
One of the best debuts for a QB. He will get his shot in a few years. Just watch.
He just got drafted in the 2nd round of the UFL draft to the Washington DC Defenders. This story may not be over just yet…
If it were that easy to play the position, then every team would have a franchise QB.
I enjoyed the video! I so think he has the skill set to make an NFL roster however you hit the nail on the head a qbs confidence is very hard to get back! You see it time in and time out that QBs with all the talent in the world go to the wrong nfl team lose confidence and never gain it back! Or you see guys like his ex coach Warner have his confidence ripped away and end up in the right situation and gain it back and become greats! I hope the latter happens for this young man! I pray it does! I subbed to your channel I feel you have a lot of potential!

He was never the same after his arm injury in the Holiday Bowl and claimed his arm was wearing out by the time the actual injury occurred, Too bad because his freshman year was brilliant.
When he came to Pitt i didn't have super high expectations, but was rooting for him either way. However when watching him he didn't really seem confident at all and never came off as totally in control of the offense, while i know Pitt isn't a super great program i thought that he would better to be honest.
Two off season shoulder surgeries (after freshman and sophomore years) can have that effect on your performance.

He should have stayed at USC. What ever was “bothering” him there followed him everywhere. Zero fortitude to stick it out and make it work.

I think he might surprise some people I think if he gets a shot, he could be a decent back up

Im so old that i remember Randy Fasani. Qb for Stanford that was on some lists going first overall to the texans. Mega hyped. Ended up going in the fifth round and playing tight end his last season in the nfl. Hes now a cop or something

Injuries inconsistent play lack of offensive talent and the transfer portal he kept going on....after that solid perfornance he had at sc and the beginning of those Injuries he should've declared for the draft...likely would've gone no later than the 5th...
Kedon never was "that guy". He had one good year at USC as a freshman QB. Other than that, he was ehhh....
Saw him at Pitt … understand he didn’t have the weapons but looked awful every game I watched … sorry it didn’t work for him but looked like his heart wasn’t in it …

He was a year too late in Pittsburgh. Jordan Addison and OC Whipple had already moved on, and they were a huge part of kennys monster year. That being said, he still played with a bunch of guys at Pitt who play/will play on Sundays. Once he got banged up at Tennessee, he looked like a different player. They should've benched him and played nick Patti the rest of the year. That could've avoided the slovis disappointment and the qb disaster last season
I can't remember what video it was but three years ago I called that kedon slovis would fail because he always stared down his first option when passing for way to long. Defenses started noticing that and would destroy his only advantage of having favorable mismatches. Without that advantage he is one of the worst QBs I have ever seen, hence why he always put great stats up against sub par teams after his first year.
Nobody named Slovis is leading a team to a super bowl.😂
As a BYU fan I was not happy about signing him at all. And my retiscence was confirmed due to his play, which was rather lackluster compared to what we have had over previous years.
A one-read QB. Was an absolute disaster at Pitt; spent most of his time after drives on the phone at the end of the bench, asking the booth what he misread or didn't see. Perfect example was one play against VA Tech when the entire stadium could see Jared Wayne 10 yards open behind the defense, and Slovis refused to throw the ball. Him sitting out the Sun Bowl and heading out the door were the best decisions he could have made for Pitt.
