You have to understand why universe 7 won they foght each other for years the rivalry they have was one of the main reason they won

I wish that they would have restored more universes (with strong dangerous enemies) than those destroyed during the tournement... that would have been a great plot for later seasons and could fix the.. nothing matter 'cause nothing happened at the end.
Oh, you reminded me of an old storyline I had in my head at one point. The Daishinkan lost six children when those other universes were destroyed (the Angels in them) so he asked a boon of Zeno about never again destroying them with their universes; they weren't part of them in the first place. Nobody likes to lose their children, especially in such a brutal way. As for Merus, for breaking Angel laws (See the manga), he may have been a "troublemaker" by Angel standards, but the Daishinkan took the chance he had to restore his son, even if he had to restore him as a mortal. Merus is probably the baby of the bunch. XD (But, like I said, the former was just a story, as there isn't direct evidence of those Angels being killed. Zeno's power can override the "Angels only die if they break Angel laws with fighting" rule.

It's weird reading backwards, but I just realized the Grand Prieast said please restore all of the universes that were erased, even after remembering and watching the entire series why does super shenron respond to wishes backwards? What's the difference between the current Shenron and Porunga
So, does it include the other 4 Universes that were erased? They DID have 16 Universes before Zeno eliminated 4 and had 12 til now.
This would have had more tension if it was Frieza who made the wish, also if it wasn’t set before the freaking end of Z.
Why those destroyer gods are not erased while guys like Champa were erased along with the universe??

I get it has to be a good ending….but it takes away the character building and the sacrifice and even the lives lost - when I watched this I nearly flipped my laptop, cause it felt like I wasted my time.
What was the point of the tournament if that wish was going to be made?
It only emphasized the fact that in DBZ universe, death means nothing and almost all the main characters get the dragon balls - and it doesn’t matter what kind there are, there’s a loophole, and everyone survives!!!!
You do realize if that specific wish wasn’t made, universe 7 would be the only universe to exist. So it wasn’t a waste of time. I think the main point of the whole tournament was to introduce different level of powers. Goku and the whole team was obviously gonna win but it was all about showcasing the scale of power. That’s just my opinion tho . Just go watch the new squid game lmao
Because an act of love is the most important act. Yes bringing back people that had been forced to fight for their lives against others forced to do the same, is a powerful act of love. Remember this had been done to them for amusement/entertainment. why should they suffer because somebody else thought it was fun to wipe people out for enjoyment.
The whole TOP was a test by the Zenos, and Android 17’s wish passed the test. If the winner did not make a selfless wish, they instead would have wiped out all universes - including those that did not participate.
