      Hey Gerry,@@marathonman1955
Entertaining is one way of thinking of it.
They can be down right frustrating.
I’m just working out how to move them all from the front to the back through the long paddock along the boundary.
I might not video that move due to swearing. 🤬
      Have a good day. 🍻

I would pay to see and hear it
      It would bring back memories
The boys would swear a bit and if Lynne could hear them she would give them a dressing down saying that was paddock talk and that where it stays!!

As a strategy to lead water away from that bottom paddock, may not help mate. I think you'll find though just one good plow in the bottom paddock will more than double the water holding capacity immediately. Then with time managed grazing and allowing the roots to get deep will allow the soil to hold even more water over time. The sponge action will increase. It is a flood plane down there, its meant to be wet,,but it might just be compacted from years of use from yester-year. Give it a chance to rehab maybe?
I can sort of tell by the rushes growing in that bottom paddock,,,,they only grow in non aerated soil,,,usually wet compacted soils,,,, just plow it normal is my guess.

      Hi @@adammz08
Thanks for the advice, Really good point about the bottom section makes a lot of sense.
We have seen a reduction of those rushes in other areas after a year from running the plow through them.
      Time will tell.
      Have a good day.

@@ourstoneycreekjourney5702 are you doing a video on the ground you plowed last year, and the results you have seen from the plowing and grazing management ?

      Hey @@adammz08
We only have one paddock that has visibly improved & that’s the paddock close to the house that we have been able to water.
The front paddock l plowed & sowed seed, initially had some growth, but we have had a really dry winter & spring. We had 25ml in the middle of July & since have only had 16ml. I have been using 3 paddocks for 5 Belties & been rotating the sheep around the rest of the place. We are just about out of grass & been feeding hay all through winter & spring. Hopefully when we do get some rain we will see more results. 🍻

@@ourstoneycreekjourney5702 thats dry conditions, possibly leading into a drought year. Droughts always break though, keep on ploughing to sink the water in when it comes.
