I really love how they started the song off with some classic sounding slam, but then moved up through some more traditional sounding death metal vibes, and even a bit of blackened influence with that epic ending section! good shit.

This is the ideal formula, to me, as I always prefer some syncopation -- coming from a Deathcore background before getting into Slam around 2007/8 -- and loving Repudilation grooves. ED has the perfect formula, and hold up well, compared to modern contemporaries. The drumming is super Cephalotripsy'esque in the right instances, coupled with righteous groove for good measure. My favorite "new" Slam band that I know of, right now. I remember how I even heard of them; I met some kid on Text+ YEARS ago who just told me about ED's Serial Urbicide one day, and thought it would blow, because he was into some random Fash-Emo/cock-rock stuff (you know teens) -- but, man, did it floor me. I'm still thanking that random kid in my head..
