Personally, I think that Dreamcatcher dances are the more hardest of the kpop girl group, i learned 4 of them dance and there are so hard. Loona Butturfly is not a easy dance but not a very hard too, (It’s my opinion, sorry for my bad eng)

Loona's butterfly is made to look hard through the formations but when you look at individual people it looks simple. It's all about making it look harder than it actually is which makes the choreography great.
Hey girl! My group and I did a cover of this choreo and its a freaking pain, not because of the moves, but because every move needs to be perfect and delicate and in sync. Its not like other performances because you have to put energy en every move but still make it delicate and hold it and on top of that you need to be in sync with another 11 members. Also yo can see our performance here on youtube (just search astra butterfly kpop world festival spain) ♡
Thats what i thought first, and yet after watching all the dance covers of the song theres still no group or individual who perfectly did it. Im not saying theyre not good, but i think whats making the choreo hard is the textures of it. Each person must be on the same rhythm to make the same effect as when loona does it.

the magical thing about loona is that is a group of 12 girls, 12 individuals with 12 different styles
you can tell if you are listening to a chuu solo or a yeojin solo
even in the units the sound is establish!
take yyxy for example, their cuteness is just perfect for the concept, or even 1/3 that is the most complex (theory) and talented sub unit
but you can also tell if you are listening to a LOONA song, that is unique, powerful and relevant
they could ALL be easily solo artist, I mean, they are COMPLETE

@Mofaizer Anamon as a dancer myself i've learned the whole choreography of butterfly and it took me ages. they make it look really really easy which in fact it isn't. they have good techniques but then again almost 3/4 of loona are dancers. i have nothing to comment on SNSD since theyre literal queens, but twice's choreo isn't that hard. i'm a once so i definitely don't hate on them but their choreo's could be a lot harder since theyre capable of that. ITZY on the other hand has harder choreographies but as 4/5 of their group exists of dancers i'd expect this from them. i'm also a midzy so definitely no shade to them.

Coming from an unbiased professional dancer, the actual choreography for ‘Butterfly’ isn’t hard. It’s actually quite simple. Just some elegant locking. However, the wow factor is the synchronization. Loona does not have hard choreography (compared to blackpink, everglow, itzy, etc.) but they have flawless teamwork and synchronization.
I personally think loona dances are more harder than blackpink, if you took a look at so what and why not. But i agree with everything else.

I definitely agree with you and would say that you don’t need a girl crush concept to have stage presence. what I put was based on what Ive read online about girl groups and their stage presence if they have a cute concept. rv alongside many other groups like the ones you mention have amazing stage presence. This was just one example from rv that showcases that you don’t need to have a girl crush or sexy concept to have stage presence. hope this makes sense and I appreciate the honesty 💓💗
