Penny can actually get parvo if you take her out and put her on the ground if she doesn’t have all her shots, especially if other dogs have walked through that area. Obviously your backyard is safe, but just be careful because my dog had it when she was a puppy and it was so expensive and sad to get her healthy again! just thought i should let you know so you don’t have to deal with that ❤️

Same, our corgi got parvo in our own back yard! The past owners must have had a dog, but it can travel even through human contact :/ it was horrible and expensive but he did beat it
Denise yes it could literally happen anywhere despite the precautions we all take! my husky got through it as well, but if I had caught it any later she might’ve ended up dying. That’s why it’s important for everyone to make sure their dogs get fully vaccinated!
I hope they see this! i know they want to give Penny nothing but the absolute best care, but i would hate for them to go through that :( Sorry you had to go through that, but im glad you commented to let them know!
I just want to say please be careful walking Penny in public without all her shots.. I had a puppy her size and my parents took her to one of my cross country meets in a public area because we had no idea how easily he could get the Parvo virus and he did... and passed away. It was the saddest thing!! I'm not here to lecture but I'm trying to save y'all the heart break!!! Love your videos & love you guys!!

She’s beautiful. But if you were talking about her getting sick if she is around other dogs because she hasn’t had her shot, diseases can also be in the ground. People can carry it as well as dogs. Also, while you’re at the vet, be careful if you put her on the ground because it is possible for her to catch whatever the dog before her had

Please don’t hold the blow dryer that close to Penny’s skin next time! It’s so easy to burn a dog’s skin, even on a low setting. Blow drying her from a distance is perfectly fine, but only every once in a great while. Same goes for bathing, it’s actually terrible for their skin unless it’s absolutely necessary. I would definitely be careful. Penny is so cute and I love seeing you guys come together as a little family, Louis included! I can’t wait to see what Penny’s personality will be like as she grows.

Sarah De Martin you have to dry Cavaliers with a blow dryer. They’re sensitive so you have to make sure they’re completely dry, and the best way to do so is with a blow dryer

Puppies can still become infected with parvovirus, Distemper, bordatella or more even without a dog being present. While some of the endospore can still strive for 6 months without a host. And distemper and bordatella are transferred through the air. It can still linger around. So please be careful. She’s too cute to get sick.
Michelle Cashpal it can actually survive in the dirt for up to 20 years!!! You never know what animals have been there in the past so you have to be careful! :)

It’s really good you washed her when she was young as adult cavs usually hate water! Be sure to take special care around her ears with the water as they are prone to getting blocked with water xx love your little family

when you walk her sometimes you should check the ground because pups will walk on hot concrete and burn their feet without you even knowing
and then try your best to keep her inside ears dry because thats how infections happen etc. I have king Charles and I know how it is

This is making me so excited because I am getting a KITTEN next week!! Ahh new pets are so fun 😍
Also, just be careful walking her on the street. Parvo is really intense, and my dog after having 3 of his parvo shots still got it just from walking through a kids park (not even a dog park) and he made it but it was mostly because he’s a larger breed, so 7 months he was 75 pounds, she won’t have that benefit.

You should buy her doggy diapers . I know it sounds kinda ridiculous lol but it helps so much because girl dogs love to piddle when they get excited . I would recommend it so much !! Also love you guys ❤️

Get used to the tail wag 😍💖! Cavaliers are always wagging there tails, it’s so freaking cute! They are just such a lovely dog breed. Currently we have one, her name is Tiffany, she’s so adorable and sweet. Hope you’ll have as much joy and love from Penny as we do from our Tiffy 🍀💖
I would actually getting a puppy today but the owner of our house sad that he has to think about that because he doesn't likes dogs I'm soo sad 😔 we just would get him today but now we have to wait... 😭😢
If your gonna blow dry her you have to constantly be moving it and you can’t hold it in place or your literally going to burn her. Have they ever got your hair done and when they don’t move it it burns??? Please be careful and please also hold it far away those things get really hot

Girly it's super dangerous to drive with your dog not secured, especially in the front seat! Especially with a tiny pup, even a sudden stop could send her flying! They make really great dog harnesses for the car, definitely consider looking into them!

it’s not the risk of other dogs coming up to her. It’s actually not safe to walk her on the ground. she can still get parvo by being out and about places without having all her shots. parvo is so bad and she is too cute to get sick please don’t take her out and put her on the ground until she has all her shots ☹️

Oh my goodness how cute is she!!! I have the same dog and when she gets really exited she would pee a lot. She kinda grew out of that phase now. She just turned 6.💕❤️
Please DON'T walk your tiny puppy without IMMUNIZATIONS. It's NO JOKE. All it took was one escape outside before my puppy got his shots for him to get PARVO and PASS AWAY. Puppies are still developing their immune system so they're more susceptible to diseases.
