Thanks for the video, that's really useful. I was wondering if there's any way of hiding the Bar'1 and Bar'2 parts of the diameter and area definitions to improve the presentation of the spreadsheet? Also, is it likely that the bug in the units part of the combo box is likely to get fixed?
Hi Matt. I’m not associated with PTC so can’t speak to their plans. I will experiment with the title parts to see if I can control its visuals better. (Away for work right now so it will be a few days at least)
Thanks, sorry about that. Try this, maybe it will work better. (If for some reason the link doesn't work, just go to the playlist for Mathcad on the channel and you should find everything) drive.google.com/file/d/1nVez6GlXBffNjn4W6K2KiAEnqO5NHckX/view?usp=drive_link
Sure. I talk about how I insert images here (PTC Mathcad - Inserting Images ua-cam.com/video/_sqdJpMmUQc/v-deo.html). I just make the images in PPT and then use the “save as” feature to turn them into a png.
Hi Sergey. It is explained completely here: ua-cam.com/video/SyNi2YYHlPE/v-deo.html . Effetively the elements of an array are numbered sequentially. By default the first element is numbered 0. If you use ORIGIN=1 it resets the numbering of array elements to start at 1. See the link for a detailed description. Cheers.
this is a usefull video
Thanks!
wow, i learned so much sir, thank you for sharing
My pleasure. I’m glad you found them useful!
@@PatJHeffernan yes sir, i'm still a beginner using mathcad and i'm glad i found your channel
@@soloplayerhinagaming If you find there is anything you think should be added, be sure to comment. I have a running list of videos “to be produced”!

@@PatJHeffernan thanks Prof. I want to request you that you upload sheets you made so that we can study. 🙂
@@WaiYanTheinSwe-e1w Hi. My goal is to provide you sufficient guidance that you can build your own sheets. 👍🏻
@@PatJHeffernan thanks Prof I will try my best
@@WaiYanTheinSwe-e1w You’ll do great. The best learning is hard won. Ask questions if you’re stuck, I’ll try to give pointers.
Professor would you share the name of the tool that you use to make the png images of beam's section?

Any way of making a combo box without any units ? (Ex a combo box of multiple constants) thank you!
Of course... just leave the unit field blank for any parameter that is unitless.
@@PatJHeffernan thank you sir. I appreciate your videos, keep em coming!
Can we create dependent combobox
Not that I’m aware.
Pat, would you, please, explain the meaning of using ORIGIN=1?

Now I got it.
