- SIGNALIS arrives on the Nintendo Switch, a sci-fi horror experience with a ton of promise, does it live up to expectations? Let's find out!
Searching for dreams inside of a nightmare
Awaken from slumber and explore a surreal retrotech world as Elster, a technician Replika searching for her lost partner and her lost dreams. Discover terrifying secrets, challenging puzzles, and nightmarish creatures in a tense and melancholic experience of cosmic dread and classic psychological survival horror.
Fatal exception
SIGNALIS is set in a dystopian future where humanity has colonized the solar system, and the totalitarian regime of Eusan maintains an iron grip through aggressive surveillance and propaganda. Humanoid androids known as Replikas live among the populace, acting as workers, civil servants, and Protektors alongside the citizens they are designed to resemble.
The story of SIGNALIS begins as a Replika named Elster awakens from cryostasis in a wrecked vessel. Now stranded on a cold planet, she sets out on a journey into depths unknown.
Classic survival horror gameplay
Experience fear and apprehension as you encounter strange horrors, carefully manage scarce resources, and seek solutions to challenging riddles.
Cold and distant places
Explore the dim corners of a derelict spaceship, delve into the mysterious fate of the inhabitants of a doomed facility, and seek what lies beneath.
A dream about dreaming
Discover an atmospheric science-fiction tale of identity, memory, and the terror of the unknown and unknowable, inspired by classic cosmic horror and the works of Stanley Kubrick, Hideaki Anno, and David Lynch.
A striking vision
Wander a brutalist nightmare driven by fluid 3D character animations, dynamic lights and shadows, and complex transparency effects, complemented by cinematic sci-fi anime storytelling.

Currently loving this game. I played for a couple hours on game pass and enjoyed it so much I ordered a physical copy from playasia. It's a fantastic survival horror experience..
Just bought a copy today. Excited to finally play an oldschool style survival horror game again. It's been ages. I'm also a big fan of the cyberpunk/anime aesthetics so this looked right up my dark and terrifying alley.
The protagonist's suit reminds me of the Gantz suit
I love coming to this channel always coming out with great recommendations for games on the switch
Kinda odd that you complained about inventory management when that’s literally one of the first documents you collect in the intro of the game. It literally says to limit your pockets to six items at a time.
But I reckon that’s good this is your only critique.
I get the reasoning behind it, just found it drove to alot of back n forth, it keeps you I guess underpowered in a certain way
It’s tempting, but the backlog! I still havent started anno mutationem yet!!
Picked this up on release and looking forward to the moment when I immerse myself into this one
This looks pretty legit! Great review! 👍
Loved this game. There were some flaws sure but overall I thought it a fantastic experience definitely recommend for old school survival horror
You really need to play this with the CRT filter enabled for the full effect
I am looking forward to trying this on GamePass, already downloaded, and seeing if it's worth having on the Switch as well.
Kinda seems like the devs were inspired by Yoko Taro, definitely going to check it out
2nd! Yes! seriously, though, reminds me on RE
Yeah RE here was clearly a massive influence, good to have that old school feel back with a few modern tweaks
@@SwitchCorner No Silent Hill vibe?
Not for me here really, silent hill was my personal favorite
I'm glad to hear it's fun.. I decided to pick it up physically just based on the description..
Great review, but the game's view is not isometric.
Games like Disco Elysium, Tunic & Death's Door use an isometric view, this one has a top down/bird’s-eye perspective.
I love this game sooo much ! Just got the bad ending, going for a second run and the good ending :) And the Achievements too :)
EDIT : Oh wait, the game has 4 ENDINGS ! :D
This looks awesome! I definitely wanna play this onem
Is that background track a remix of "Something Memorable" from Furi ?
This is on Game Pass!!
i loved this game! first playground only went pistol except for XXXXX. I'm gonna go back for different endings
ENOH is meant to be grudge game releasing tomorrow on switch will you be reviewing it?
Looks interesting. I may watch it on the eShop.
Thanks for the review! I don't think I'll be picking it up but can definitely see the appeal for sure
You sold me on the game!
First on the comment! Finally! Kinda cool gameplay though 😁
Thanks Jcks! Enjoy!
Amazing! 🎉
GOTY for me
I would love more if this were a platform one
Bad game
Why?
Too much accent. Hard to listen to him
