As a business owner, you also need to account cost of product, payroll for employees, and much more. Even if a company is making let’s say “100k” in revenue, that doesn’t necessarily correlate with the actual REVENUE that the company is making. Brandon definitely Is making moves with his company, but I’m trying to give you a realistic perspective in the business world.

I love these videos and your level of transparency into what its like to scale a business. I'd be curious to see how you're planning to increase your actual margin as you grow. Seems the biggest lever you have to drive margin is based on your ability to effectively flip cards,boxes and packs. E.g buy low, sell high. While selling new release products has a lot of hard costs with minimal opportunity to drive margin outside of buying power helping to decrease your cost.
Yea the trick is to raise sales without having astronomical prices. We def try to have as fair prices as possible, minus our vintage (bc we’re so confident in the quality)
So the goal being buying as low as possible and selling as much as possible. So scaling sales rather than scaling margins
If you threw the trash into a can as y’all streamed, you’d save yourselves from wasting time cleaning later. Just a thought.

Hearing about your costs and what's needed to keep things going sounds scary but from what I can tell you've got a solid plan going forward. Being someone who's only been operating a couple months out of their apartment and averaging about 200 a month in revenue I do hope to get to your kind of numbers in the future when I eventually get to having my own shop to work from. Watching these vlogs are great to see the inside perspectives for larger scale operations and in an way helps get me pumped to work harder at it.
I think you should also donate the etb boxes as well instead of throwing them away. You can also use the boxes as "bulk boxes" to store different types of cards and sell those boxes for a price. That way you'd make money on builk cards.

I think you need a business/CPA to come in and handle all of the administrative/accounting side of the business. That will free you up to think big picture and plan these big deals. I would totally apply for that!

Would love to see some of your personal collection in a video sometime. Also, maybe an idea for a video could be, when you’re opening a new set, to see you put them in a binder and see how long it takes for you to have the thing complete (regular set, not secret rares maybe). That would definitely satisfy us ocd completionists 😅.
I love watching these vlogs and learning about how you’re running your business. Caring about the community is a real move in the business space and I truly hope it pays off because we need more businesses that want the healthy balance with their communities.
However, do I desperately want you to get 2 cheap bins to stick under the streaming desks to chuck the rubbish in as they open rather than on the floor, convinced you’d get like 30 mins of your day back each day 😂 rip open, drop to left into bin, job done 😅

I would recommend talking to SimplyUnlucky for some advice. He’s been streaming and selling large scale for a couple years now for Yu-Gi-Oh and has a team he manages. He was able to move from full-time UA-camr to business owner, like what you’re doing

Not sure if you covered this on the Rips channel or another video here I haven't seen, but I'm curious how you feel about the upcoming TCG mobile app that was revealed on Pokemon Day? It seems like an interesting intersection between two of your main focuses, would love to see you at least review the app when it comes out. As someone who isn't really into the card space, it looked intriguing to me, but I could also see how TCG folks may have mixed opinions on it.
