No doubt she’s the strongest mermaid princess especially considering she stopped the tsunami all on her own when Luchia, Hanon, and Rina all together couldn’t even stop the tsunami even by a bit. Not only that by out of all the princesses her story is the most tragic and by far has the best and most heartbreaking song of them all
I can't recall whether this was ever explained in the anime, but she was the one who created the storm that ended up drowning Kaito's parents. Think about how powerful of a storm you'd have to start in the Indian Ocean to be capsizing boats in Japan.
She was the oldest with most experience u know so you can't call weak the others
she was the strongest becuz they was the olderst mermaid, but actully the 2nd orange pearl mermaid is the strongest. she has more powers.
The Orange Princess was considered "special" in the serie, one point is she don't have another princess to divide her power with (like Luchia&Coco, Lina&Hanon, Noel&Karen), ecc...

@@nevenavujisic2063 I don't like Gaito very much, and I definitely am a Sara x Taro shipper, but I don't think Gaito would ever betray Sara on purpose. The only time he went against her was when he felt hurt but even so, he couldn't bring himself to hurt her for long, let alone kill her. In the end, he loved her and forgave her and because of that I don't think he'd ever cross her.
But she has her perfect redemption in the season 1 and her perfect reaparition in season 2

Mermaid Melody was my very first anime. I was 10 years old, and I'm 20 now~ I remember adoring this song with all my heart, and I still do. I should watch it again...

I love this version the most! It gave me goosebumps.
I love the "darkness"/"bitterness" of the Japanese version/lyrics. There is also nothing "sweet" or "soft" about her voice there. Each word came out strong and sharp, almost "stabbing". For me, the Japanese version conveyed well how Sarah's perception of love became jaded and twisted after her lover "abandoned" her. A scorned woman, no doubt.

her hair was dark because heart was filled with darkness and sadness. Then it turned orange when she is happy. orange is the real color of her hair.

I relate to Sara's song while she is hurt still from her past of Taro up and leaving without saying goodbye. Because my senior year of high school my at the time girlfriend who was my childhood best friend broke us up and did so infront of the chocolate fountain. Chocolate is something meaningful to me because my dead gram loved chocolate. So for me to get my heart broken by my first ever girlfriend in front of something that reminds me of a lost loved family member hurts just as much as Sara was hurt.
