I have this tool,,You can buy extension for the cable on line,,You don’t have to buy the extension from launch,,A generic one works just fine,,Payed 15 euro for mine..
For anyone undecided about buying this tool.....I can't guarantee you will not be sorry. I purchased one last year and it's been bulletproof. To the point where I look forward to using it. It can be used as diy or professionally. The features are outstanding for the price. Next item on my buying agenda will be the tpms wand accessory.
Why not a crp919x bt or Else? Cheaper sind with coding
Nice one Jimmy , was great to meet your at the NEC on Thursday, humble gezza
Ive got a launch 129 evo pro from launch.does the basics and does dpf, tpms, battery relearn etc.just the job for a quick roadside plug in with a few extras .free lifetime updates too. Probably the best 260 quid ive spen.gets into models that my snapy wont even recognise!
It's getting more difficult to choose which diagnostic tool to get. I've thought I'd narrowed it down to the XTool D8W but this Launch X431 Pro Elite looks interesting for the price. It seems the competition between the Chinese brands is really ramping up.
Stay away from the xtool d8w. I've bought it and can do no reset functions at all.
Doesn't support
Scr reset
Adblue level reset
Service maintenance on Chevrolet
Dpf regen on Skoda.
Waste of money the xtool d8w trust me.
I would stay away from the xtool line completely.
Safes bet autel, lunch and topdon are up and coming
@@shahislam9450 - Thanks for the info. When you say it can't reset functions do you mean the 'special' functions? It surely can reset standard OBDII faults etc.
Launch have good products ,I'm very happy with the Bluetooth 919 ,132 pids for Mazda 6 ,when I switch to obd 2 it has more .
This a lunch really is very good. I've had it nearly a year without a single glitch and I've never had an instance where it wouldn't have a feature I needed. It's not the fastest on the planet to recognise a VIN but you get used to that pretty quickly
Got a launch mot and doing good for price.....communicated with a few things that our 4000 euro Texa doesnt want to funcion with..
I just bought a dedicated launch cready looks good for the money jimmy does everything
honest review as always
Nice tool, I do like the ones with the topology though 👍
Great video. Cheers
Thanks Jimmy
As an enthusiast the “bi-directional 919E “ has been invaluable not as posh as this model, I’ve replaced the NOX sensor 2 and looking at the mileage of this Vivaro now my NOX sensor 1 has now decided it needs attention, I’ve erased the fault code if it appears again in a week or so then it’s yet another £250. Happy motoring.
I’ve got exact same one Jimmy but Bluetooth and it doesn’t always display the scan modules like that, but just on certain vehicles. Mine scans just like yours and also does a high speed scan. Mine is 2 years old now so maybe they’ve changed the software but mine works a treat. Cost wise I paid £1050.
Jimmy I have that Launch diagnostic with same cable.....Can I buy the Bluetooth Dongle to suit this model? 3xcellent video again Jimmy 👍
Exact same as the TopDon ArtiDiag Pro, great tool for a back up
I would think that you could get an extension cable for it Jimmy.
Jimmy I've been eyeing this up for a while.
Can you see how it fairs on PSA stuff for the SCR, Eloys and DPF functionality? A lot of kit can't read it well.
Cheers
Hi mate thanks for your all video and your time to help all of us with your knowledge,,
Mate do you recommend this launch x431 pro or Autofix on your previous video ? Which one is better or both do same job, thanks
Matt
GOOD TOOL
Im sure you can get cable extenders jimmy?
I'm being pushed into gateway does this have that I've got snap on d9
Launch X431 CRP 919 BT E or X almost identical except has benefit latest BT dongle and is slightly cheaper than the pro elite 😮 👍 worth a punt for the advanced DIY'er or even pro ?
Not bad for the price that.
My trafic has an anti pollution error count down, can this unit reset it? I was thinking its possibly thr NOX sensor?
Can they reset the NOX SENSOR?
Will this be good for modern BMW's in terms of updating idrive maintenance etc
No. Youll need dealer level tool like icom or ista.
have you had anything to do with XTool and any thoughts
Avoid.
Is this fully supported by Launch UK ? or are you on your own ?
Like I say in the video... its not from launch UK its launch China
@@ORileysAutos missed the bit at the end.
seems like a solid option, just missing the topo map like you said.
Am also sure that you can get a longer cable for the odb port so you could extend that to outside the car.
Be interesting to see if any of these can do key programing.
hi all . is there a launch tool OR any tool infact at diy enthusiast level £300 ish that does Ford regenS and adblue resets ,.. been looking and can`t see one that does both

K7?
Hi bro. Do you have a link to this specific one? I can't see it on launch uk website.
It's not a uk product... link in the description.. my affiliate link is kingbolentool.com/?ref=iq39r3l2
Hope you could do an Autel MaxiAP AP200 review. It's a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter by Autel, that you can download the Automaker data of choice. Seems a great tool for a DIYer, and even for yourself when traveling.
Isn't that the same system that launch also have? I know that with the launch software (I have one from Thinkcar, but it's the exact same and uses also launch software) you have to have a subscription (you get first 2 years for free) to use it and have to renew it after every year otherwise it won't be usable. Is the Autel the same?
@@hadiamrane Not sure but I think for around 15€ you buy the Automaker software, without subscription.
The biggest issue with Autel is that support is non existent.
There’s lots of Land Rover owners who swear by the AP200.
After I got locked out of my account & I got zero response when trying to reset the password I gave up on it.
This is a good ( for some functions on certain cars ) but no where near the level a professional needs. It's £60. It's not going to do anything serious.
Vauxhall's are Renault Mercedes are Renault, what are Results? 😮
