- Isn't it remarkable how the guitar ended up back in Aimi's arms after all these years? Another thing I found interesting is that the star motif from Julia and Ryuuseigun continued on to Kasumi in Bandori, and the color red being shared by Aimi, Julia, and Kasumi!

Tbh I've not heard this song before I made this series, but now I love it so much it's always stuck in mind!
for me it was the opposite. Heard this song from the anime one of fairy tail's ED theme and noticed it was sort of familiar. Aimi's voice was really distinctive, so it didn't take me long to figure out without searching anything
Always kinda an amazing thought how Idolmaster is the reason Bandori exists. So many im@s VAs went on to take part in Bandori.
It's also heartwarming to see her transform from a relatively cookie cutter pop singer to a real pop rock vocalist. That Julia performance was honestly incredible.

Cookie cutter pop singer? I'm from the future and I just want to tell you that you have just foreshadowed another one her roles, this time as an actual cookie.
Yes, she actually voices Parfait Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom and she is actually just like Kasumi.
One note for this performance is she played almost all the chord parts. On the first of the the verse she stopped to focus on singing, afterwards she played the chords. Backing band for guitar lead and a backup rhythm guitar.
As I remember 2011 Ryuuseigun showing she practiced the solo and (almost) nailed it live. The chords strumming was still the same.
That showed she could play this song perfectly.
After this, Aimi and Guitar became inseparable. And it also gave Aimi a new life for her music career.

I didn’t know that Mikoron and Ayasa were at her first solo live! I love how supportive they are of each other. Such a precious friendship.
Seeing “We’re The Stars” live was so cool! While her singing technique might not be as strong as today, her passion and emotions always shine through!
Aimi’s relationship with the guitar really is special. I’ll admit that I’m so used to seeing her perform with the guitar so the footage of her first live felt weird for a bit. Glad she and the guitar found each other again!
That last point is really interesting. To Bandori fans like us who knew about her from Bandori, she's always performing with a guitar. Her early lives had so much energy with only the mic to hold. Scampering around the stage, clapping, cheering and working up the crowd, being herself. It seems so much fun! Looking forward to seeing her return to that again when she holds solo lives again. She'll probably be much less wild though, haha.
Then the guitar came back into her life and made an immediate impact (with a BanG! xD), but I really love that even so, she somehow found the best way to combine the two so that they nicely complement each other. Despite the fact that this idea was so unprecedented at the time! The way Aimi was able to fuse both these passions together into something that is far more dazzling than either of them were before is, like you said, really special.
@@eiensubs I really appreciate her energetic presence on stage when performing without a guitar! It’s like you said, Aimi found the balance between the two now and I’m excited to see more and more of her performances!

Her first live is simple but I like it somehow, maybe the differences through the years makes me like it.
It's crazy how this turning points happened so fast and really feels special that she uses the guitar for her redebut too.

Aimi is amazing! I always liked watching her live performance of Ryuuseigun playing her guitar, even though I'm really not that familiar with iM@s. It's so emotional. I didn't know how significant the guitar was in Aimi's life.

I'm not familiar with iM@S too. I think the only performance I've seen from them is this Ryuuseigun by Aimi, but I've watched this clip probably a hundred times already haha.

tbh, her voice in her early career as a singer didn't really match my preference, a bit too harsh and unrefined for my taste. But, i think her voice when singing as Julia became the foundation of what she became today. Her voice became more solid, more power and have more depth, imo. But, if i were to know her at the early days, perhaps i would still listen to her, 'cause man.... that smile is unfair, lol.
Wholeheartedly agree. Her voice certainly underwent quite a transformation over years and years of practice. That smile of an angel too, didn't come about by chance. Not sure if you know this, but when she was in high school, she would spend hours in front of the mirror to perfect it. Really cute picturing this in my mind, but it again shows her determination once she sets her mind on something.

Aimi is a foil to Machico in term of voice. Machico got an unusually high voice, Aimi tends to sing very low voice.

Not really haha. Eien just means "forever". It comes up quite often in Japanese lyrics.
"Forreva" has been my online name for a long time.
When I was thinking of a name for my subbing channel, I knew that subbers like to put "Eng Sub" or "EN Subs" in their titles, so I thought "EiEn Subs" was quite clever because then I already have that in my name!
