I can vouch for what you said. I hunted unit 16A last year. You could easily spend a day and not even see hardly any sign. It's definitely a sparsely populated location. Not even many birds or other common animals either.
I have a tag for elk in 16A this Sept and have been e-scouting as much as possible. Any tips or areas we should be looking for? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I live close to those units. 16a can be a very hard unit. But has produced some big bucks. Hoping I get drawn for it this year.
