I think you forgot to connect the speaker. I’m where you are now after not connecting the battery first haha. No sound so now have to work out where to solder the speaker wire to and connect

My kit did not come with a speaker.

I just got one of these (silver case), thanks for the pointers on constructing the case. One question, mine came with a simple speaker, did you use this and where did you place it?

Man this was really really hard to assembly, unless you have miniature hands

The screws are a bit fiddly and I used needlenose pliers to get them in place. My fingers have been described as 'sausages' and my thumb as a 'hoof' so I do not qualify on the miniature hands front.
