Excellent review. Been waiting impatiently for your take on this bike. Last summer I bought a 2019 Tiger 800 XCa. Absolutely love this ADV bike, even after the complete overhaul into the 900. I personally think this 900 is about the best out there. Let’s face it, I’ll probably never push my 800 past the limit into 900 territory. Many Thanks for your professional insight.👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸 🌎

It has shaft drive, Full electronics incl traction control, driving modes, electronic suspension, adjustable windshield, 2 ht adjustable saddle, heated grips, cruise control, comes with hard panniers, handguards. I believe it has 120HP and 85ft lb torque. It's definitely not the most powerful ADV bike but it's fast enough for me. It will go over 200kph no problem. It has a great ride, is very flickable and has great wind protection. IMHO it's an underappreciated motorcycle.

Nice review! I like how you pointed out the stupid shit they are doing with the riding modes and the display. Simple and functional it should be!
I remember your review of the old 2018 Tiger 800 XCx that i bought, it also have the annoying riding modes and display. Plus shitty windscreen. I have removed mine and it transformed the bike allot better.
Given the looks this 900 is really ugly with features allover the place white frame, silver plastics and squeezed headlights. Even the local Triumph dealer told me he much preferred to ride the 2019 model to the new one. It's shame and i probably won't be returning to Triumph in the future

Great, honest, real review. Only thing though. Since when is a 900 triple a middle weight? When I was younger a 900 was a super bike. 🏍🏍

You can switch from off road mode to road mode while moving just keeping preshed the riding modes button

Great honest reviews as always. But adventure bike are getting more and more expensive !! and must people who purchase these bikes never go off road, they just like the looks and are comfortable on long trips. I recently purchased a second-hand Royal Enfield Himalayan for under £3000.00 for green lanes and off roading, and if I drop it which I will, who cares ?. But £17000 for GS. or £14000.00 for a Triumph come on.

I tried both in one day and Rally was more comfortable for me than GT plus behaviour on the road was also better for the Rally version (suspension on bumbs/holes and taking corners - couldn't feel anything bad about 21" front wheel).

Absolutely! 900 is way to big for serious off-road. Bad enough crashing a DR650 off-road but a DR650 isn't 18K and I never worry about trashing it
