These piano renditions of songs make me so reflective. Memories and ideas of what type of person I wanted to become flood my brain. It's sad to think about the things people have given up on that made them so happy because of their circumstances, self doubt, peer/societal pressure or just trauma in general. Some fortunate people find a way back but some can't and never will.
I love listening to this version, makes me relive memories when I was a little child, playing outside or even alone with my imagination. Although it makes me cry a lot, it heals me at the same time - it’s like watching myself grow and forgiving for who I am now.
Thank you for this composition. It’s wonderful. Kept reminds me of the times I felt free, and the indescribable moments of my youth. Praise be to God. I hope whoever reads this is enjoying the song too.
