    Thanks again for a great video. You could try baking the crust for 5 or 10 minutes before you add the filling that may solve the crust issue.

      I know lol -on the way to the nursing home I. picked up. the squirt whip cream and put it on my moms pieces. I. forgot to pickup. heavy. cream to make homemade. And when I do the apple I have. to pick up French vanilla for her-lol. Thanks. Todd!

    I too have never been a fan of pumpkin pie. Apple all the way, with big chunks of apple like my grandma use to make for me when I was a kid. Looking forward to your next bake! In the bin! 😂

      Yeah I was brought up not to. waste food but just. don't care for pumpkin pie. Much rather have apple pie. Funny my mom use to make Mac and cortland apple pies-one held there shape and the other turned to mush-oh but her pies so good! Same with granny! Thanks!

    Thank you for daring to make one and try it even though you did not like it. I admire your honesty and for still making the recipe for your dad and maybe mom if she likes pumpkin pie. I looked pretty simple, easy and good to taste for us pumpkin lovers lol. Thank you again and enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family. :-) I would like to be checking for your apple pie.

    Fun video. Hope mom and dad enjoyed the pie. Have you ever watched the UA-cam video about grit in Costco pumpkin pie? Costco and Libby's apparently use the same type pumpkin. I'd never had that in my Costco pie until the last one we bought and that one did have grit. Explains why I had to toss my two loaves of pumpkin bread out awhile back - we didn't like the feeling of biting into fine sand. Now I'm on the search for a new brand 🌞🐾🐾🐾

    Lol 😂! I can see that you’re really not fond of pumpkin pie. I do like it but I never make it either. I think my uncle asked me to make him one maybe 25 years ago, and I did. But it’s not memorable😂. I make sweet potato pie. I might try that recipe on the can. Great video Lisa. I’m going to figure out where I can put an oven.

      lol. Yeah sweet. potato pie has better structure/consistency so I like. it-I guess not as mushy-lol. I. may. have to try making one this year any. tips and tricks? Thanks Stephanie!
      oh and my face always gives me. away-lol. Even when I. wear a mask in the OR they can tell my. mood/what I'm thinking by. my. eyes lol. Guess I wouldn't make a good poker player.:)

    I use pyrex pie pans (glass) always comes out good. I use Libby pumpkin and the recipe on the label, I add more spice.

    Good morning from Montreal 🇨🇦. Another very quick and #Deeelish Air Oven recipe. I AM NOT a fan in any way of silicone cookware, especially for baking. Silicone is made to not get hot so then it doesn’t even get hot enough to brown or fully cook things like the bottom of pie crusts. Don’t recommend them for use in anything especially Air Fryers/Air Ovens. Besides that it looked great. I am like you and not of fan of the taste of just straight pumpkin pie and prefer the recipes where you combine the pie filling with whip cream/dream whip so it lightens the strong taste of the pumpkin and it’s not so overwhelming. As always, thanks for the quick, how to, yummy recipe video and I’m sure I’ll see you in the next one. #StaySafe

      Thanks! I remember my grandmother she had metal tins for pies-done. know what happened to them. I would like. to try the chiffon pumpkin pies-may like those. -lol. thanks!

      @@pressurecrisp Thanks for your reply. I also really like using glass / porcelain style pie pans or even better, cast iron. Like I touched on earlier, NOT a fan of cooking in silicone. Soooooo many complaints about the same thing. They are designed to not get hot so they literally don’t get hot enough to cook in properly. Thanks again, see you another one soon...

    I learned a lot on your video, thank you. I've had the same problem with a pie in my air/oven I am looking forward to your apple pie. I am beginning to think the regular oven is a better way to bake a pie. I've even had a similar problem trying to bake biscuits the bottoms don't get done. Thank you. I am looking forward to your apple pie to see how it turns out.
    P.S. there are some great recipes for pumpkin pie using eggnog.

      Glad it was helpful! Will be doing the apple pie. I made the. can/tube biscuits the other day and the bottoms were brown. Maybe I. will make homemade biscuits and see how they do in the oven-maybe a quick video to boot. I'll look for a pumpkin pie with eggnog recipe. Thanks R. MM!

    I made our favorite, sweet potato pie yesterday 'vegan recipe' no eggs used silken tofu, in my Breville counter oven. I loved it but it's to small. The oven : )). Where am I going to put B when my NFXL oven arrives :))
    Be sure and make a sweet potato pie...just use clove and cinnamon for spices. It's cheaper than buying canned pumpkin and easier to get organic.

      I always par bake pie crusts for custard style pies. And always place them on a cookie type sheet with parchment paper, and a pie crust shield.
      I apologize. My daughter tells me I always have to do to much information. :))
      But I absolutely making pies.

      I can see the NXLoven bakes even better than my Breville. BTW..I don't usually do vegan for my pies.
      Don't forget to refrigerate custard pies after they cool a bit.

    That looks amazing! I love your Ninja Foodie videos but I have one question and this might not be the place to do it but I'm going to ask anyways... How about dehydrating? You may have made a video making beef jerky or dried fruits and I missed it. I'm scared to do it but thinking about it. What do you think?

      Hi JT, No I haven't done any dehydrating but I can and will. Maybe some jerky. and I do love dehydrated fruit in my oatmeal. Thanks JT-oh and I have the LEM's snack stick mix that. I like to do-they are very tasty-I'll make those-think pork butt is on sale this week-can grind up my own meat and make snack sticks. Thanks. JT

      Happy thanksgiving, in England we don’t celebrate it. We do have Guy or (Guido) Fawkes night on the 5 November with fireworks and bonfires. It was a plot to blow up to kill kingJames 1st in 1605. He’s worth a quick google if you fancy it if you a spare couple of minutes.
