I don't understand the issue others have with men wearing a hair system. It's just like when women having false eyelashes. 😂 If they feel good about it, they don't need to explain why they need to wear it. I think you look great no matter what!.
I think there has historically been a stigma around men wearing hairpieces mainly because they used to look to look terrible. They didn’t look realistic. They’ve come a long way and good ones look very natural now.
absolutely not, lol. Hair is identity, wearing fake hair completely changes how you look. Fake eyelashes dont suggest as big a change in outward apperance as fake hair.
Looks great on you bro but whatever you feel comfortable with . I had a hair system done it was best decision I ever made. My confidence has come flooding back. I'm 37 and people think I look 25
I put it this way. Hair is like having teeth. If you don't have teeth, it's not attractive and makes you look like an old man. Not everyone can pull the bald look so glad there's an option now. We need to have more people open up and embrace the hair system so that more salons will be aware of the technology and someday actually provide full service for a little bit more than your average hair cut instead of being ripped off my hair clubs to do this.
Thank you very much for the video, Stephen! Wearing a hair system should not give people too much pressure. You like wearing it, then go for it. If not, then don't wear it. It's supposed to help you look younger, confident and feel good about yourself. Wearing a hair system does require you learn a lot of things. So here we are working with TheSalonGuy, a hair expert, to offer you more and more tips to make a hair system look natural and make your hair system journey a lot easier.
Im 33 and have had no hair since 24. I miss having hair honestly. I’m too far gone for a transplant. My loss is aggressive. I’m very interested in doing this. I don’t care if it’s extra upkeep. I want to feel like myself.
It's really not a hassle, the learning curve for me took about 1-2 months to learn how to put on tape/glue to where I could do it comfortably. Do it, it will change your life. Message me if you have any questions.
@@TheHungarianOakDO NOT go for SMP. It’s looks shite and so obvious. Within two years the colour fades, often changing to a green/blue and the dots spread and merge into a single blob.
Hi. You going to live a long time. I'm watching all your layers haircuts on my smart TV trying to stay educated while going through this corona virus. I love your videos and you are a great hairstylists. Keep up the great work. And you are awesome for who you are. Be bless hun
Or you could get grey in your hair system hair. I know that is not what one would want. But I think that's what's throwing things off. and an undercut with very little parted hair to blend the system hair into looks a bit off too. It either needs to be really long and combed straight back or grown in on the sides.
What if you do intense exercise daly and sweat buckets? Also what if I want to go swimming? Do I have to be completely bald or shave? THESE are the questions I have.
I'm thinking of getting a system, I have that exact hair style. Right now I have a fade 1.0on up to a 2.0 up on the sides. Is that a medium density or a light? I dont want to look.like I'm wearing a hat on my head but need it to be the right density. Your looks awesome! Thank you for the video! 🙂
That's really nice. Having an option is nice. I was thinking to get one, and prank my family when I go for vacation. I look great with a shave head and find them sexy😅🤣😂, but no kidding. Thanks a lot, thanks that I came across your video and just be so realistic and honest. Where are you located?
We gotta have a video where you explain how to go from a buzzcut to an Undercut while keeping it looking clean without having Long sides and short top in the growing phases please I need help by month 4 I cannot take it anymore and it gets messed up badly I always ask for high and tight
I think the hair looks great. The only reason it might look unnatural in some ways is because it doesn’t match your beard like you said. Even then, it still looks pretty impressive. The only reason I knew it was probably fake is because you spent so many years being bald and joking about it. Still, that’s damn nice hair.
I've ALWAYS had my hair long, so I'm not even sure when my temples started to recede. That typical "emo hair". Well, I was quickly approaching 30(march 16th), was contemplating a short cut, or even something going up and back. So taking existing hair I wanted to see how it could possibly look, and I noticed the recession. That quickly destroyed any hope of that. My hair is fine for how I style it now, as you can't tell at all. So I'll eventually have to deal with the loss in some way. I'm hesitant to just shave off the top because hair is there, thus I'm curious can you put a system on existing hair? Or is there possibly temple pieces that could be integrated into existing hair?
Looks great. I doubt anyone would know it wasn't natural unless you told them first. And, yeah, definitely makes you look younger. I'd go for this for sure if I ever started losing hair 👍
You have my problem. Our graying beard. My Wife a hair dresser for 20 years went to work and put some grey in my hair system and it was world changing. Or you can go and color the beard the same as your hair. Your head looks 15 years younger then your beard. The two need to match. You got it correct go with the hair and match it.
Here’s a very honest opinion... 1) Hair itself looks great! Some definite issues: 1) You need to grow out your sides! Otherwise it looks like a mop on your head. 2) Either shave your beard or get at least 30 to 40% grey in the hair system. Your beard is very grey and the hair system only matches your moustache. My comments are very sincere and not meant in a insulting way. I like the hair system on you but it would look so much better with your sides grown out and way more grey in the system if you are gonna keep the beard.
Steven, I totally enjoy your educational videos, BUT I disagree with one of your opening comments. Being bald is not your brand, YOUR SKILL IS YOUR BRAND, very very skilled, I asked you a year ago to cut in my unit, you informed me you don't get into hair systems, cutting. I hope you read this and I would like to communicate with you
Something is 'off' to me. Maybe it's because I know your a bald and see you as bald. Just as if someone shaves their head completely bald and has a full head of real growing hair. The drastic difference is a mental adjustment. I just think something is off with the density and/or hair style or a combination of those factors.
Like myself, your side hair is thin and receded- it limits the styles you can have as you can't really grow it out to blend it in, those seem to give the best results..
But you can't get away with it, though. The colour is all wrong. People, when asked, are going to tell you it looks great because who would tell you, to your face, that it looks all wrong? Perhaps, like some have mentioned, you ought to try a colour that matches the beard. Honestly, as you say, your brand is bald. It looks better on you than these unmatched colour pieces.
You are a stylist. Why would you wear a system with a very high front and a part where the hair barely comes down the side of your head? Having that much hair on the top and cut so short on the sides doesn't give you or anyone wearing it like that a natural look. Some people with their own hair can pull a style like that off. Most people however look better when the hair has some blending on the sides. It may not look as contemporary as you might have envisioned but it looks more natural. Just an FYI.
It is definitely unique. I don’t think you can get away with this. You need at least 20% grey and light density would look mor natural or light medium. I don’t know much about this brand.
If j Lopez and all these female celebs add extensions why not for men. Lopez can so much depth density and length literally overnight to her thin natural hair , a man can do it too!
You can also order the hair system with some grey percentage. Judging by your sides, 40% grey will do just fine.
I don't understand the issue others have with men wearing a hair system. It's just like when women having false eyelashes. 😂 If they feel good about it, they don't need to explain why they need to wear it. I think you look great no matter what!.
For real, it's just vanity at the end of the day and not everyone is blessed with natural vanity.
I think there has historically been a stigma around men wearing hairpieces mainly because they used to look to look terrible. They didn’t look realistic. They’ve come a long way and good ones look very natural now.

did you cut it to not have sides, i do like it, but prefer if you had sides not shaved
i guess i mean can the system go down to cover the sides and let any gray grow on sides to match beard
