I’d love to buy one live in the guest house and use it as a hotel. with half being honeymoon suites that would be affordable for people with the dream to get married in France. "Something loved" is so important. I don't think you really have a home until you add this element. I'm fortunate to be able to travel, and I try to find unique pieces from my trips. In two weeks, I'll be in Queensland, Australia and I hope to find a few small things there. Currently, I'm most interested in wall art. Excited to see what I will find.

Lighting is key for mood, which unfortunately I recieve very little of in my home. I do get back lighting from my neighbors home. Some of the tweaks have been simply decluttering and unifying our lighting ( to all the same warmer coloured wattage ) but my next big project is to convert a small bedroom into a spa retreat - including a sauma, steam shower, and red light therapy bed Your design ideas are always a huge inspiration.❤

This video is so inspiring. I literally have to watch it twice. I love detail. I love the experience a room can offer to who ever walks in the door. I don’t think people realize that all of our senses take part in our well-being and if our homes are jumbled up disorganized mess it makes us feel bad without us even knowing it. To me everything starts with visual and smell if I walk into a restaurant and visually it’s unappealing I don’t care how good their food might taste I won’t enjoy it. What you’re showing here is basically the same Thing. In designing the five L’s are extremely important but those five L’s have to go along with our five senses. Don’t you agree? Love your videos every time I may even have to watch this one a third time. It’s like I candy. Lol
Hello! Thank you for your insights @bwiseok. I totally resonate with you. We can rely on our senses to guide us, particularly when an establishment such as a restaurant or hotel overlook the little details that make us feel safe, secure and welcomed. An uncluttered environment, a clean fresh space, little touches such as candles & fresh foliage, clean windows and floors, lack of cobwebs! These things cost little but impact greatly. It's the same in our homes. Living in an uncluttered, organised space isn't sterile, in fact it allows for peace and calm and creates a space where people are grounded and not distracted by visual chaos! I love the parallels of the 5 L’s and the 5 senses! Thanks for your ongoing support of our channel. Suzie xx
Movie set locations: there are so many that resonate with me, but a couple which stand out are: the film Mulholland Drive, the Sierra Bonita Apartments where Naomi Watts' character lived and her Aunt Ruth's house also in LA. Another is the modern house where Anthony Hopkins' character lived, in the film Fracture with Ryan Gosling.
