Do you think that posting videos showing how to exploit animation and game glitches makes you cool or a " premier NHL UA-camr"?. All you are doing is ruining the game for people that play it fairly and don't repeatedly exploit glitch goals over and over. You suck as both a UA-camr, and an NHL player. This is the equivalent to uploading a " How to use hacks " video for a shooter game. You suck.
He is showing strategies and the facts are that even if one sees this stuff no guarantee they can remember this stuff or even do it. Also it was part review as he showed how ridiculous EA is in allowing people to just buy their way to the top buying cards that have players turn into gods shooting and scoring from outrageous areas. Anyway if you don't like his videos oh well. GTHO

Hardcore American Gamer wtf is wrong with you? These arent “glitch goals”, these are the top ways to score in the game. The most consistent ways to score. How in ANY way is this exploiting? Imagine someone finally got nhl and never played before. They’re gonna get frustrated bc they dont know how to score and they’re probably getting destroyed
Now that i think about it, all of these methods of scoring are basically the best methods of scoring irl. That far side cheese is my go-to shot irl..

Pyrogyst It’s not this video alone, but rather years of videos showing how to exploit the game. As true hockey fan I’ve been sad to see almost every online game turn into a glitch fest. It’s not about playing hockey but rather having to defend the same shit over and over again. How many of the goals online the last years have been short side cheese...? Those goals, THAT is exploiting. His promotion of the zero angle slap shot, THAT is exploiting! Showing how to score the same goal on breakaway every time, THAT is exploiting. I think EA have done a better job with making real hockey work this year, at least I hope so, but Bacon trying to find exploits is utterly disgusting! You should take a good long look in mirror before calling anyone else an idiot.

TheWhelan4 I’m just saying, dude. I personally think this takes the creativity and the skill bracket out of the game.
Those aren't the top 3 ways to score, they're pretty much the only way to score. It really is frustrating trying to find new ways to score that resemble real life, but the AI and the goalies are programmed in a way that only very few plays work consistently. It takes zero effort to snipe a corner in this game, I find a lot more joy scoring off a rebound. Hits from behind make deking around the D and making a move on the goalie less enjoyable, even though it is doable.
I wish EA would take the time and effort to creating certain details that would add a lot more scoring variety the game. Things like AI teammates driving the net with their stick down, AI teammates opening up their stance for a one timer that looks more realistic, high slot tips, AI teammates winding their sticks up for one timers, etc.. AI teammates just float around, bodies not in shooting position, often facing the other way or tied up with a defender 15 feet away from the net, or my personal favorite, standing in your shooting lane...
And, of course, most of this starts with the way AI plays defense. AI defense is constantly chasing you for a monster hit. Never playing a zone coverage trying to block shots or take away passing lanes. The AI does do that but not in a smart or realistic way. More often than not, the easy way to beat that is a one-timer from the D man or use your D-man to side step the winger and you're wide open for a cross body shot top shelf. Or if you have a speedy forward just spin off the checker in the corner and you'll have an easy one-timer or open path to the net.
This game doesn't allow for much creativity, just do the same things until you get bored of the game. That's the EA way I guess. Their idea of offensive creativity are a few more fancy dekes that were already in the PS2 version. I wonder how long it'll take them to finally make a game where any type of goal is possible. And if they'll ever give BAP the proper treatment but that's a different story altogether.
I was a certified beauty in the old eashl games (nhl 14 15 and 16). I've literally lost 11 straight in D10 in this game this is some sheeeeit.

Brett Warbeck I was hoping for the same thing. I’m ok at finishing chances once I get in the zone but it’s hard to get any kind of sustained attack at all. The CPU stands you up at the blue line big time and dump and chase isn’t effective either
Doug Carll Really hoping he posts one soon. I have tried a few other strategies from videos but its all a trap and totally defensive. Last year with @BaconCountry strats it worked 100x better.

I did the same thing but you get used to it after a while just be patient. Like with all games there's different controls in your mind and hands kind of take over and get used to things. You will get frustrated and you will get aggravated but just practice and relax you will get used to it very quick and it's only a game have fun with it man!!

I like the new difficulty of scoring. It’s more realistic. Maybe my goalie will actually have a chance at cracking a .900 save percentage in franchise mode

The slider is way off for AI/Player. the AI never gets a penalty and you get it as soon as the stick gets in the wrong place, i reported this to EA bug report, if everybody would do it they would put it in the next patch.
ya i get stick lifted from behind and not only dont get a penalty called i lose the puck and i get called for hooking when im in good pos its bullshit this year
I'm 3-6-0 everybody spams the leafs in vs and the shots that go in make no sense. This can never be a competitive esport because it's way too luck based

How do you make your teammates ride on the side of you? All of my teammates are so far behind that it's impossible to pass any of them without the enemy team are getting the puck.. Maybe change some teamsetting?

I love that they limited the "glitch goals". It's much more fun to play, and the goals are better in general. I hope it stays this way and it doesn't go back to the way it was last year. Too many glitch goals, goalies were basically useless. Also on B ways use the animation cancel

Why are you still playing NHL16?
Is it me or are the dekes slower in EASHL. It’s so hard to beat goalies because I can’t bring the puck to my backhand fast enough. If I do it too fast my player just spazzes out and goes right back to his forehand. I don’t really like it.

Ive been good in the past nhls division 1 player and in this game so far i playing D is pointless I dont even poke check at all if I tap once i always go to box I never spammed either and I feel my AIs never get open so far this game ticks me off and what do you think best settings to play on?

I didnt buy any packs... The teams look good because if you played the last 3 years you get 80 overalls - McDavid, Toews and Tarasenko, then the legends copy gives you 85 gretz and the no bucket Guy. my team is 79 overall lol

Back doors don't count to "glitch" BUT why in 20+ years there is always a cheap way to score a goal. It goes back to NHL 99 dumping the puck on net from the red line which goes over the goalies head and nhl 19 right to left vis versa movement hashmark shot goes in everytime. HOW have they not figured this out and every year it's always a different "sure goal glitch"
technically this only matters for online play, which should not be the focus on Sports games. No one would complain if they were playing Be a Pro and scoring like a fiend.

This is the BEST NHL game on Next Gen Consoles imo.
Just do what I do wait a few weeks check your local video game store like GameStop they will have a used copy and buy that one. You can return a used game and get all your money back so it's a nice way to try out a game. If you buy it new you won't get that money back.
As much as I loved the NHL games for me this game has been my least favorite in years. I got over the poke check spam thing but I feel like hitting is op now and a tiny check from behind can drop the puck easily. All that being said I will still buy and try to work on my game ha. Also great icon bro fellow Ducks fans.
Well you can still play NHL 18 online so you can just wait for a price drop. After watching the videos lately though I wish my son would just say he wants NHL 19 and takes his money and buys it and then I can play it when he is sleeping. LOL!
